SIEGENIA: TITAN makes it better

With a new hardware system for sills, SIEGENIA is making the design of a passageway to the outside easier than ever. The high-quality TITAN hardware range has been expanded to include a system solution for barrier-free sills with a drop sill. This enables processors, architects and end users to realize the most diverse comfort requirements in terms of barrier freedom. This new system solution is easily combined for both single and double elements with security up to RC2 and features good sound insulation and high density.

Barrier freedom with added benefits

The new system solution for barrier-free lower sills is suitable for barrier-free window door systems of the most varied profile types. From the end-user's point of view, the system convinces thanks to its simple, smooth operation and the exceptional corrosion resistance and durability that characterize TITAN hardware systems. Moreover, TITAN fittings can be used to manufacture elements up to resistance class RC2. In addition to high burglary resistance, a hook lock, which combines the locking and tilt point in a single component, provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.

Architects, installers and other processors benefit from the new system solution. They now have maximum freedom in the choice of profiles, lower sills and the type and dimensions of the elements. Thanks to the optional equipment up to RC2, they can now also offer quotations for flush window doors with approved burglar resistance. A further plus for installers is the efficient logistics: only three additional components are required to produce a single-door barrier-free sill 

High quality total system

The advantages of the other two hardware variants of the TITAN series have already proven themselves many times in practice. If you want to meet the high aesthetic standard, you have a choice between the system solution for standard sills with stop lock and the solution for ALUMAT sills. Standard sills with stopper closure still account for more than 95% of the market share. It is precisely for this type of standard sills that the SIEGENIA system solution with the TITAN axxent 24+ hidden hinge side distinguishes itself from most alternatives. The discreet appearance, which combines long-lasting smooth roll operation with high density, ensures optimum room comfort.

The same decisive advantages are offered by the SIEGENIA hardware in the variant for the roll-over ALUMAT system. In this system, the magnetic closure pulls up slightly from below during closing and is therefore also the same. Another advantage of the TITAN hardware system for the ALUMAT series is the achievement of resistance class RC2. This makes SIEGENIA the first supplier to make high burglar resistance possible also for sill systems with magnetic closure.
