FSB, the renowned traditional brand from the eastern Westphalian town of Brakel, is looking back on 140 years of successful company history. The new managing directors Tobias Gockeln and Jürgen Hess on the one hand and a renewed strategic focus on the other are the cornerstones with which the premium hardware manufacturer is facing the future and intends to win over both existing and future customers at home and abroad.

The FSB brand is synonymous worldwide with timelessly designed, functionally sophisticated system solutions for doors and windows and barrier-free sanitary fittings of top quality - Made in Germany, Made in Brakel. Since its foundation 140 years ago, FSB has always focused all its activities on future-proof solutions. Even now: true to the company's DNA, Franz Schneider Brakel GmbH + Co KG focuses all its energies on competent advice and optimum support for architects, clients, planners, processors and specialist dealers in all crucial phases of the construction process.

A decisive building block for further development is the new tandem in the company management consisting of Tobias Gockeln (34) and Jürgen Hess (57). A special feature here is that with Tobias Gockeln at the beginning of 2021, after 40 years, another member of the owner family will take his place in the boardroom. With Jürgen Hess, the advisory committee and the owner family brought in an experienced architecture and design expert and manager at the beginning of 2022 who can look back on successful stops in adjacent industries.

Tobias Gockeln and Jürgen Hess have the same goal: to actively shape current change processes and lead FSB successfully into the future. "On the solid foundation of the FSB brand, its high-quality products and building on the multifaceted competencies and passion of the entire FSB team, we want to write further on the success of the company. With our unique solutions and the topic of sustainability constantly in focus, we want to be the best partner for our customers," said Jürgen Hess. "And furthermore, with the innovative and in the future even more digitally agile FSB brand, we will also win over the younger generations for our solutions," adds Tobias Gockeln.

Both company directors want to do everything possible to make FSB as an employer as attractive as possible for current and future employees.
