The manufacturer and distributor of, among other things, sills, window sills, window sills and wall coverings made of composite stone today holds a leading position in the construction and frame industry. Through years of expertise, the company has evolved from a pure supplier to a thinking partner, who is often also asked for advice. Holonite invests heavily in innovation, for example with its low-relief sills made of fiber-reinforced composite, as well as in sustainability and circularity, including Cradle-to-Cradle certification.
Holonite has been the name in the field of composite stone in the Netherlands since 1969. "We started with the production of sills and window sills, but in the meantime we develop and produce all kinds of façade and finishing elements for the new construction and renovation projects of Dutch, Belgian, English and German partners: from architects to contractors and from housing corporations to, indirectly, private individuals," says manager of sales
Patrick Zevenbergen.
"Our product consists of a high-quality composite mixture in which various fillers are mixed with a binder. The compactness and structure do not provide a breeding ground for dirt and green deposits.
Cold bridges are avoided and the products retain their natural appearance."
Today, Holonite offers an extensive range of sills, allowing an appropriate solution to be offered for all window frames. There are the Premax® and Kumax® low-relief sills prefabricated composite stone sill systems for installation under wood and plastic window frames, respectively. The company also supplies hybrid sills, where wood and composite are combined.
"We are continuously optimizing and expanding our product range. For example, we developed the Trimax low-relief sills for wooden window frames, made of fiber-reinforced composite and equipped with a unique 3-chamber profile. A similar solution should also be available for plastic window frames by the building trade," indicates Zevenbergen.
"By offering our customers all the products in different materials, we try to take care of them completely. We think with them to provide an appropriate solution for each application. Moreover, our products are C2C-certified, thus responding to the increasing importance of sustainability and circularity in construction."
