On no less than 3,000m² - with additional future potential in the outdoor area immediately surrounding the building - it is now abundantly clear that robotization and digitization at the producer/manufacturer of the revolutionary RenoS9000® profiles is slowly climbing to the highest level. Literally, by the way.
Meanwhile, every day is a busy time in the digitized profiles warehouse set up a 5-minute drive from KUFA headquarters.
Henk Weber and Didier Holslag walk around, checking that everything is running smoothly and complimenting the employees who have also meanwhile found their way well at the new location. "When we decided a few years ago that we needed this extra production location, we also had in mind that we could organize our internal logistics, i.e. the production processes, more intelligently. More robotization. More digitization. So, more efficiency. It was a process from smart to smarter and then smartest. I dare say now that we have reached that level," says a visibly enthusiastic Henk.

"Our internal logistics are naturally linked to the KOC system (the Kufa Online Calculator, ed.) which had already been successfully introduced several years ago and which the partners work with practically every day. Thanks to the link with KOC, we can now answer our partners much faster what the delivery options are. The whole thing gives us a boost: we can guarantee that our delivery times stabilize. So, 6 to 8 weeks on average. We can be more than satisfied with that. With this, we also give clarity to the industry."
Henk and Didier explain that this investment in the building and in digitalization and robotization as well as certainly in the splendid high-quality forklift from the Combilift brand was formed around the expected further growth of the renovation profile. "We are actually only at the beginning with this," Didier says. "But so far the demand from the market is already unprecedented. We are on the rise."
Still, one cannot rest on one's laurels in IJmuiden. The market is and will remain dynamic, of course it remains to be seen how the year 2021 will develop, but the fact is that creating and achieving the highest degree of work efficiency will remain the highest priority for Kufa.

"There's even more automation to come," concluded Didier and Henk, after their daily tour of the beautiful new production facility. "Not for nothing had we already started expanding our product groups in our online ordering program. This step - the commissioning of our second production location - supports our stock ambitions but we are going much further into the future. Innovation in thinking and doing is our absolute top priority. The intended end result may be clear: our partners can continue to fulfill their own ambitions - with our products. So that seems to us to be particularly good news for the market."
