Deceuninck starts new year with new range in plastic and aluminum

Deceuninck, a leading producer of plastic and aluminum profiles for window frames and doors, is unveiling a groundbreaking concept in 2020. With iCOR, the company is launching the very first universal building block for plastic window and door profiles. The successor to their Zendow and Zendow#neo series, based on this iCOR principle, is called Elegant and offers several modern styles in plastic frames and doors. iCOR - Complexity reduction in production process and logistics

iCOR from Deceuninck is a unique concept. For the first time, a plastic range has been developed that is based on a universal building block and can be combined with different sashes and frames. A graceful or minimalist look? Flush or recessed wings? Thanks to its thoughtful design, the iCOR building block can be effortlessly combined with any sash series. Optionally, a center seal can also be provided.

The advantages are obvious: enormous time savings and flexibility in production, unprecedented interchangeability, greatly reduced complexity and thus a reduction in cost during the production process.

Elegant - High-quality design with excellent performance

The iCOR core is being applied for the first time to the new Elegant series: plastic window and door profiles for which Deceuninck won the Red Dot Design Award for 'Product Design' early this year.

Elegant combines superior thermal insulation with an unparalleled sleek design. As the finest plastic profile on the market, it is yet another proof of the pioneering role Deceuninck wants to play in terms of innovation and design.

The technical performance of this new series is nothing short of impressive. Elegant achieves the highest class in terms of air, water and wind tightness. The frames and sashes provide excellent thermal insulation and durability.

Synergy in look, feel and color with Deceuninck aluminum

However, Deceuninck has even more to say at Polyclose. Since a few months, the company launched a new aluminum collection under the name Decalu. The system was developed according to the patented So Easy technology that combines efficiency, user-friendliness, technical performance and design possibilities. The advantages of plastic were transferred to the new aluminum series. For example, all aluminum profiles have rolled-in seals. The integrated insulation strips also allow them to be cut in one movement. Both the new Elegant profile and the Decalu profiles have the same hardware groove, which gives advantages in production, stock and maintenance.

The biggest advantage, however, lies in the unique alignment in terms of look and feel between Elegant and Decalu. The rectangular glass lath and the shared minimalist design make Deceuninck a one-stop-shop for both plastic and aluminum. Integrating both materials in the same production and project? In order to guarantee the same color for all joinery, Deceuninck developed 'Smart Colours'. Thanks to this principle, the available color coatings for aluminum (Aluroc) and plastic (Deco¬roc) match each other perfectly. Thus, joinery elements in plastic & aluminum, as well as ventilation and façade applications, can be combined as one color whole in the same building design.
