Deli Home, the leading manufacturer and distributor of wood-based home improvement products, is strengthening its position in Europe through the proposed acquisition of Karl G. Miller Holding GmbH & Co. KG (KGM) in Germany. KGM is a manufacturer and distributor of high-quality wood baseboards and profiles for home beautification and renovation. KGM's customers are specialized wholesalers, players in the door and furniture industry and leading DIY stores in Germany. This acquisition allows Deli Home to accelerate its growth in the German market while increasing its product offering for its European customers.
Eugène Sterken, CEO of Deli Home said, "We are pleased to announce our proposed acquisition of KGM, an innovative and leading player in wood skirting and profiles in Germany. KGM provides an excellent opportunity to accelerate our European growth and increase our European production capacity. In doing so, we share a commitment to using 100% FSC/PEFC certified wood. I look forward to strengthening our partnership with the Miller brothers and warmly welcome our new colleagues on our mission to become Europe's digital lumber mill."
Thomas Miller, Managing Director of KGM, added: "For me and my brothers, it became very clear in recent years that 'size matters,' especially as the lumber and construction industry in Germany and Europe faces many economic challenges. Joining forces with Deli Home gives us access to broad industry expertise and a great European buying and sales network, as well as the financial strength to accelerate our growth strategy. Deli Home's strategic vision closely aligns with ours, providing continuity for our employees and many opportunities to develop new products for our customers. We look forward to continuing to contribute to the success of KGM as part of the Deli Home family - together with our current and new colleagues!"
The acquisition of KGM marks Deli Home's sixth acquisition since Ardian joined as a shareholder in 2021. In 2022, Deli Home acquired Euromolding, a high-quality manufacturer of wooden interior doors for the Dutch market based in Portugal. In 2023, Deli Home acquired bash-tec, a German-based product developer and manufacturer of insect screens, and Allure, a Dutch-based manufacturer of high-quality custom-made storage systems. In 2025, Deli Home completed the acquisitions of Houtwerf and Distri-Hout, two well-known on distributors of wooden building materials in the Netherlands and Belgium. Together, these acquisitions contribute significantly to Deli Home's mission to become Europe's digital lumber manufacturer.
This proposed acquisition is backed by Ardian, a leading global investment company, which is a shareholder of Deli Home along with its management team.
The acquisition of KGM is yet to be approved by the relevant competition authorities.
