Belgian machine manufacturer Soenen Hendrik, develops and produces automated production lines for plastic and aluminum windows and doors and also specializes in fully automated solutions for aluminum bar machining. For its most demanding customers, the company developed a new, universal five-axle integrated into a fully automated throughput center called the Matrix. At Fensterbau Frontale, this technical masterpiece was one of the biggest eye-catchers.
"With the Matrix - the first machine of this type worldwide - it is possible to perform the most complex machining operations, such as variable angle cutting in multiple planes, end or variable angle machining such as drilling, milling, flow drilling and tapping, as well as counter-profiling," says salesman Pepijn Carlier of Soenen Hendrik. "In short, when it comes to machining profiles, this machine really has no limitations. In addition, a standard 700 mm saw is available to achieve very sharp angles between 22.5° and 157.5°. A solution was also found for ever higher and wider profiles."
This technical tour de force further includes a tool change system with automatic magazine for up to fifteen different tools. Thanks to its unprecedented versatility, the Matrix is ideally suited for various industries, especially where there is a need to be able to cut in 3D and where there is a wide variety of operations.
