Aluminum giant's expansion headquarters is showroom for flush doors

Architectural firm Jaspers-Eyers was commissioned to design the expansion of the Reynaers Aluminum headquarters. This project with a training center includes some thirty interior doors, and the top architects wrote for all the flush-fitting doorrun - room-high, single or double, fire-resistant or acoustic - flat-wall door systems from Xinnix Door Systems for.

The Reynaers management opted not for standard products, but for customized solutions with high-quality German door fittings. Meanwhile, Xinnix continues to develop and recently also obtained a certificate (EI1 30) for fire-resistant interior doors up to 3 meters high in combination with a wide variety of door fittings.

The name Xinnix is synonymous with every interior designer and architect for the invisible integration of interior doors. "We design, createWe create and produce patented door systems that are completely flush with the wall: no visible frames, hinges or other irregularities. We supply systems for normal swing doors, but also fire-resistant and acoustic doors as well as sliding doors in the wall," says manager Chris Vermeulen. "Our systems consist of pre-painted aluminum frames, which can be used for all doors, and come standard with a magnetic lock, a rubber seal and invisible 3D adjustable Xinnix hinges."

Pure customization with high-quality German door hardware

Xinnix offers a solution - standard or customized - for both contemporary, sleek interiors and modern rural environments in homes and apartments, but also in office buildings and other projects. For example, architectural firm Jaspers-Eyers integrated some 30 doors based on Xinnix door systems in the headquarters with training center of aluminum giant Reynaers Aluminium in Duffel.

"Just about all possible types of flush doors are combined in this project: room-height, single and double doors, fire-resistant (EI1) as well as acoustic applications. We are not talking about standard systems here, but pure customization with high-quality German door fittings, including Tectus TE340 hinges and KFV magnetic locks, for all doors with built-in door closers," indicates the business manager. "At Xinnix, we guide the customers from A to Z to always obtain an optimal result. This way we filter possible errors from the construction process, because this is crucial with 'invisible doors', where every detail is, after all, extra noticeable."

Close cooperation with contractor

Also for this project, Xinnix Door Systems worked closely with the architect and the contractor. The specialist provided installer Vanhout with the necessary detailed construction drawings, so that all Xinnix door systems could be assembled perfectly and within the predetermined timing. "The eye-catcher are the 4 meter high frames with 60 mm thick doors, which could be integrated inconspicuously thanks to our expertise", Chris Vermeulen continues. "For us, this is yet another real reference project. The fact that an international market leader like Reynaers Aluminium and a top architectural firm like Jaspers-Eyers apply our products is surely a recognition of our successful combination of high technology and refined design."

Continue to invest in development

Such projects give Xinnix the courage and confidence to continually optimize their invisible interior door systems and continuously develop new, innovative solutions. In recent years, for example, significant investments have been made in various fire tests.

"We achieved certification (EI1 30) for fire-resistant interior doors up to 3 meters high in combination with a wide variety of door hardware, which now makes it possible to apply any type of invisible door closer in combination with anti-panic locks, multi-point locks or electric locks," concludes Chris Vermeulen. "Moreover, the hardware underwent durability tests with cycles of 200,000 opening and closing movements."
