'The window frame of the century will become the new standard in Netherlands renovation land!'

Well, there is every reason for a broad smile among the employees of KUFA Raamsystemen in IJmuiden. Because the introduction of the renovation profile Reno S9000^® - last year - has actually turned out to be a great success. The profile has already found its way well, especially in the Northern Netherlands where KUFA Window Systems found a good cooperation partner in Power To Create. "But in the meantime, we have already launched several projects in the central Netherlands as well," say Henk Weber and Didier Holslag. "Moreover, we see that our partners also literally place a lot of orders via KOC (Kufa Online Calculator). We are talking about Owner Associations and housing associations."

For those who missed the "revolutionary introduction" in 2021, a brief summary. The Reno S9000^® is a window frame system where the existing window frame does not need to be removed and the new window frame is mounted over the existing window frame. After mounting the new frame, the inside can be finished with a special click system. The advantage of this click system is that the existing interior finish can remain in place.

Henk and Didier once again list all the advantages:

- High insulation value due to more air chambers. Thus, subsidy eligible;
- Less inconvenience because less dust is generated during the removal of the existing material;
- Less practical knowledge is needed than with regular frame series. This is because the frame is installed in an existing frame, which should already be square and straight;
- The high-quality frame profiles are equipped with a center seal rubber (third seal). The intermediate posts/sills are slightly set back, making the appearance slimmer. The rebate depth is 26mm: this also provides a better edge insulation value. The glass rebate width is suitable for glass in sizes from 24 to 52mm. Last but not least, the energy label is easier to obtain by applying this series.

But the biggest (economic) advantage, of course, lies in the rapid assembly, which results in substantial savings in assembly processes. After all, more window frames can be assembled than would normally be possible during renovation. Quite handy! Because... in a period of great scarcity in the labor market - it is difficult to find good personnel - you can achieve the same result with fewer people.

Mounting price is lower

But the assembly price also falls much more favorably because assembly is faster. This has the additional "by-product" that clients - because they have budget "to spare" - can then also opt more quickly for the many extras such as Realwood foil, an HVL connection or other additions that would be too expensive in a "normal assembly".

Finally, Henk and Didier emphasize that measuring in has also become easier. "This is because the daylight size of the existing window frame is known. Window sill and window sills can also remain in place."

So things are looking good for the year 2022. "We expect the renovation revolution to continue," concludes the pair in IJmuiden. "As far as we are concerned, the Reno S9000 is^® truly "the window frame of the century" and the new standard in the Netherlands. There can really be no more misunderstanding about that!"
