Fittings manufacturer introduces total concept for certified quality

The requirements for window, door and lift-slide hardware are becoming increasingly stringent. Certifications such as CE and KOMO® are indispensable for manufacturers who want to comply with current regulations as well as the increasing expectations of customers and end users. The Building Quality Assurance Act (Wkb), which has been phased in since 2023, places the burden of proof of building quality more emphatically on performing parties. This means that manufacturers and processors must increasingly be able to demonstrate that their products meet the applicable standards. "In addition, KOMO® certification goes further than the European CE mark," Çümen emphasizes. "KOMO® sets higher requirements in areas such as durability, mechanical strength, corrosion resistance and user safety. Our MACO Complete system is fully equipped to meet these requirements."

Performance requirements demonstrably secured

MACO's new system effectively supports customers in meeting performance requirements. The components used are tested and certified both individually and as a system, which greatly simplifies quality assurance. Çümen: "With the MACO Complete system, manufacturers and processors have a solid basis for meeting the relevant performance requirements set. This helps them reduce risks and failure costs and offers advantages in tenders where certification plays a decisive role. Customers retain the freedom within the system to make their own design choices, appropriate to their working methods and responsibilities."
