Superior sliding doors for interior and shower

Bohle is a big name within the glass industry. The originally German family-owned company has existed for almost one hundred years and has developed into one of the world's leading developers and manufacturers of glass systems, glass fittings, sliding door solutions, tools and machines, and consumables for glass processing and finishing. With the participation in 2018 in the Italian sliding door manufacturer McSlide, the Bohle Group has further strengthened its know-how and capacity for innovation in the field of high-quality sliding door solutions for interiors and bathrooms. 

That Bohle is constantly working to innovate its product range is evidenced by two recent introductions of sliding door systems: the MasterTrack FT, a high-performance sliding system for the interior market launched in 2019, and the Mastertrack ST, a similar system for showers launched this year. FT stands for frontal track, ST for shower track. 

MasterTrack FT 

The MasterTrack series is distinguished by its easy alignment and assembly and unprecedented smooth running of the sliding mechanism. "In addition, the system is modular which means that a solution can be found for every interior request," assures Frank Bouwman, branch manager of Bohle Benelux. "The same running profile is used for the different weight classes from 60 to 150 kg. So a slim profile is also possible for the heavier variant, if the interior design demands it. The running rail can be safely attached to the wall or ceiling with a few simple steps. All other settings for aligning the door are then easily performed from the front - hence front track - which is a great advantage for the customer during assembly."

Floating doors

MasterTrack's key components are its superior runners and patented hydraulic dampers. Bouwman: "The runners are almost silent and give the feeling as if the glass door is floating when opening and closing. The new damper gently and smoothly slows and stops the door in one motion. A locking mechanism prevents the door from falling out even if it is opened or closed hard." The aluminum components are available in aluminum color and stainless steel look. 

MasterTrack ST

This year, the MasterTrack series was expanded to include the shower variant: the MasterTrack ST. Bouwman: "This also incorporates the technically sophisticated runners that make the movement so smooth and quiet. Thanks to the simple design of the profile track, the door fits into all corner, recess and free-standing shower solutions and the system fits into compact, space-saving bathrooms as well as very wide shower cubicles. If desired, the system can be installed with a sill or threshold-free. The narrow gap of only 12 mm between the sliding door and the fixed glazing minimizes water leakage."

Safe and sturdy

Even for the shower version of the MasterTrack, assembly is particularly simple and user-friendly. Bouwman: "Drill holes are unnecessary due to the clamping mechanism whose clamps provide a secure and firm hold. They are easily inserted, glass operations are not necessary. Once the runner is in the rail, all parts are accessible from the front and easy to adjust. We are just about to say: a child can do the laundry, but there is not much difference." 

MasterTrack ST is suitable for glass panels up to 40 kg with a glass thickness of 8 mm.
