New hardware solutions for window and door: smart, functional and versatile

In the run-up to 2026, HOPPE AG brings pleasant and varied product news. First of all, Europe's market leader in high-quality door and window hardware for residential and commercial construction presents two new series within duravert, the exclusive line of hardware products. A second achievement is the further development of SecuForte, the unique security concept that effectively protects windows from unauthorized opening from the outside. Finally, with a new compact window handle, HOPPE introduces a versatile and quick-to-fit solution.

With duravert, innovation and craftsmanship come together in an exclusive and complete range of interior door hinges, profile door hinges, window handles, bow handles and lift/slide fittings. So too within the two new series Firenze and Venezia, available in different trend colors, surfaces and finishes. Typical of the former is the rounded neck and the drop-shaped, symmetrical handle. Features that together with the rounded corners of the rosette ensure elegance, lightness and a harmonious character. “As a result, the series fits perfectly into both classic and modern interiors,” says Angelo van Aken, project consultant within HOPPE Benelux.

The Venezia series, on the other hand, stands for extraordinary elegance. Thanks to its asymmetrical shape, defined by the square neck rounded on one side that extends to a flat handle piece, it is possible to mount the window handle in different ways. “This versatility makes Venezia a fitting element in timeless and luxurious interior styles,” says Van Aken. 

Burglars no chance

Simpler, different and above all safer. These are the main features of SecuForte, the award-winning concept with which HOPPE developed a completely new standard in burglary protection. Van Aken once again explains the principle of pressing and turning at the same time. “When a window fitted with SecuForte handles is closed or in the tilt position, the window handle locks automatically. This is because the handle and square pin are not connected. That makes operation from the outside virtually impossible and gives burglars virtually no chance to get in.” Thus SecuForte protects against burglary attempts by breaking the glass, drilling holes or moving the hardware from the outside. As a follow-up to the previously introduced Hamburg and Toulon series, the Amsterdam and Paris were recently added to the delivery program. These versions available as lockable versions also carry the SKG seal of approval. 

Compact window handle

Especially for the Belgian and German markets, among others, HOPPE developed the compact window handle, a new solution distinguished by a minimalist design. The secret of the product is that the substructure of the window handle is no longer fitted in a rosette connected to the handle, but instead is screwed directly onto the window profile as a separate component. To attach the handle to the profile, it is plugged into the substructure contiguously. The stable substructure is then firmly attached to the profile in four stages with screws. 

“This guarantees a secure attachment to any window profile,” Van Aken believes. “Regardless of whether that consists of aluminum, wood or plastic: it always fits and works. Moreover, the compact window handle is available in different surfaces for the aluminum series, Hamburg and Toulon, both as a lockable and non-lockable variant.”
