Improve the insulation value of your front door

Anyone wishing to insulate their facade would be wise to include their front door and frame connections. For example, by replacing a 38-mm-thick front door with a 54-mm door and/or by exchanging a front door with stiles and sills for a composite flat door with insulating foam core. This significantly increases the insulation value. Especially when the seams and gaps are included.
