Good indoor climate through tested air permeability with SKG2

Open window

Minimalist

Reduced transmission losses: increase insulation value and airtight building but a totally closed building does not feel comfortable. Ventilation is important and ensures a comfortable indoor climate. The minimum gap position of the SECUAIR provides ventilation with proven security. Burglars cannot get a grip on this minimum window position. Outside air does. Even rain does not get a chance to enter because the window is only opened from the top (10 mm). The SECUAIR has all the advantages of ventilation in just 1 hand movement. Without additional visible additions to the window; the window retains its aesthetic value.

Tested and proven

Recently MACO gave the SECUAIR an additional challenge: the air permeability test via SKG/IKOB. Testing is expensive but MACO tests through independent institutes to provide the market with important guidance. Security was guaranteed through testing for burglar resistance and thus the SECUAIR achieved SKG2, a considerable achievement because the window is in a small gap position. This secure ventilation position with good air permeability allows excellent, year-round ventilation of both the upstairs and downstairs. 

Renovation

The hardware lends itself well to renovation. When choosing new window frames in both plastic and wood, the choice of hardware is important for the resident's living comfort. A tilt-and-turn window is already highly desirable, and when the window can also be set to a continuous ventilation position, this will increase living comfort many times over.
