Glass partitions and doors are very popular with architects and builders. After all, they provide the necessary separation and acoustic buffer without compromising light transmission and transparency. G-Fittings is a leading supplier of glass wall and door systems: standard or custom-made. This specialist from Emmerich am Rhein (Germany) offers high-quality total solutions that excel in terms of aesthetics, functionality, acoustic insulation, and ease of installation.
“We are a one-stop shop with a very extensive standard range, but we can also produce custom-made products. Our systems are supplied as a total package: glass, aluminum profiles, doors, hinges, handles, seals, etc. For frame doors, we even supply all door styles, i.e., two styles for the vertical parts of the frame and a lintel,” says sales manager Martin Hohmann. “Since we always have all components in stock, we can guarantee our customers fast delivery.”

G-Fittings glass wall systems open up new possibilities for architects and builders who want to divide spaces in an aesthetic and functional way, without compromising on transparency and openness. They are based on high-quality safety glass and aluminum profiles in various widths, heights, and finishes. U-profiles are mounted on the ceiling, into which a glazing gasket is fitted. UL profiles are used on the floor and against the wall. These are divided into two parts and, after the glass has been installed, a closing profile is fitted. The choice of the right profiles depends on the size of the structure and the thickness of the glass.
“Nowadays, a lot of attention is paid to acoustics in living spaces, offices, meeting rooms, and other areas. Our systems are supplied with high-quality tempered safety glass or laminated safety glass with a thickness between 8 and 21.52 mm. With laminated glass, an acoustic layer can be integrated between the two panes. We guarantee sound insulation of up to 44 dB,” explains the sales manager. “We also take the installer into account. That is why our new concept was developed in close collaboration with experienced professionals and why we opted for intelligent, easy-to-install systems and components. Pre-mounted rubber seals in the profiles ensure that the wall and door systems can now be installed by one person. The profiles for the frame are also easy to install. To attach the hinges, simply screw the supplied screws into the pre-drilled holes. These hinges are 2D-adjustable, making it very easy to adjust each door correctly. The door leaf can be used both DIN right and DIN left.”

G-Fittings has an extensive product portfolio. Customers can choose from various hinges: Anneliese, Annemarthe, Cassie, Gilda, Josjua, etc., various profiles (Ulla, Feli, etc.) and even complete custom-made door frames, such as Ted. The manufacturer is continuously expanding and optimizing this range. A good example is the Wilma glass door hinge, designed for doors up to 3000 mm high and weighing up to 90 kg. This hinge is suitable for glass between 8 and 12 mm thick and can be adjusted +/- 3 mm in height and +/- 2.5 mm to the left and right after installation, allowing for precise alignment of the door.
“Jacobine is also new. This U-profile with a visible width of only 25 mm or 33 mm is suitable for wall, floor, and ceiling mounting. It is available in lengths of 3000 mm and 5000 mm and comes standard with an integrated seal. And with our Theo configurator, you can create your own complete glass door with frame, including a custom-made aluminum frame. This self-closing door is between 1800 and 2400 mm high and has a width between 600 and 1200 mm. It can be opened DIN left or DIN right. All hinges are included and there is a choice of different door handles and cylinders,” concludes Martin Hohmann. “Our profiles, hinges, and locks are available in black design, matte silver anodized, and brushed stainless steel. Prefer blue, green, or even pink? No problem, because we powder coat these elements in various RAL standard colors on request—even for single items.”
