Energy-neutral homes with distinctive architecture require specific window frames

The Het Binnenhof project in Utrecht consists of 34 ground-level homes in the center of Vleuterweide. The total project consists of ui 10 apartments President, 30 apartments Westpoint, 12 apartments Stadhouders and 34 apartments Het Binnenhof. Ballast Nedam West completed these 4 projects on behalf of Ballast Nedam Development, says Peter Jongeneel. Het Binnenhof is a special project, distinguished by a wonderful diversity in the facade. The homes, located on Zuiderburcht, were designed in the architectural style so characteristic of 1900 and excel in energy neutrality.

The homes all have a high level of quality and energy performance. Ballast Nedam made a conscious decision to maximize quality at a fixed price in order to make the homes accessible to as many people as possible. The delivery is very complete, including luxury sanitary ware, a luxury kitchen and an ecological custom garden advice. With an EPC of 0, the homes not only have a low heat demand, but also meet the electricity demand during normal use.

The homes, located on South Burcht are designed in the architectural style characteristic of 1900.

Only possible with the right frames and glazing

No two homes in the plan are the same. Yet this diversity should not nibble at the durability of the homes. That is why the Gealan S 9000 NL window frames were chosen. The insulating effect of these frames in combination with HR++ glass provides the required energy neutrality. For the residents this means lower monthly costs, there is talk of energy bills as low as € 50, - per month.
