Sliding doors are more current than ever. Whether we look at the application within the residential market, at work, in healthcare or hospitality, a beautiful sliding door is functional and adds something serene to the interior. Dormakaba has the ideal sliding door system in its hands with MUTO, versatile, attractive and excelling in ease of installation. MUTO is a manually operated system, offers great freedom of design and can be fitted with glass or wooden door leaves or profile doors. Thus, a room can be closed off atmospherically, or a comfortable passage to the other room can be created. The manually operated MUTO sliding door system can be supplied with a wide range of options.

From as little as 600 mm width

Even small passages from 600 mm width are possible. Light and heavy doors up to as much as 150 kg can be equipped with the DORMOTION damping mechanism, even from 600 mm door widths. This provides additional convenience, as does the self-closing operation without external power supply, an integrated locking device and a status indicator for monitoring the door, for example. These options can all be retrofitted without any problems, by the way. With additional options of having the system powder coated in any RAL color and matching accessories, such as handles and recessed pull handles, the picture is more than complete.

The versatility is great: MUTO is applicable for glass and wooden doors, light or heavy, up to a door weight of as much as 150 kg. The DORMOTION damping mechanism, as already mentioned, provides additional comfort. Installation of the system is simple and adjustment is easy thanks to the removable front cover. MUTO offers many individual design options, with a choice of the standard colors silver, stainless steel look and white, in addition, therefore, optional in any RAL color. The system is available for double doors, whether synchronized or not, and telescopic models.
