AGC doubles warranty period for fire-resistant glass Pyrobel and Pyrobelite

Pyrobel(ite) is laminated fire-resistant glass from AGC that is fire-resistant for up to 180 minutes thanks to transparent intumescent interlayers. There are several classes from Integrity, Integrity and Radiation Reduction to Integrity and Insulation.

This new warranty period applies to Pyrobel and Pyrobelite when this glazing is installed in applications with a 4-sided framed frame and applies to both single and insulation glass. The warranty covers, among other things, optical defects such as the ''haze'-effect and ''bubbles'. The warranty does not apply if AGC's instructions for handling, packaging, storage, transportation, installation, placement, use or maintenance are not followed.

The warranty period starts for all Pyrobel and Pyrobelite glazing charged from 01/09/2020. The warranty will be activated if AGC accepts the claim, then the glazing will be replaced and delivered free of charge.
