Deceuninck Tunal has been developing and manufacturing ventilation grilles, wall grilles and slatted wall systems for 15 years. Thus, the specialist offers the glass grilles Tunal65, Tunal75, Tunal80 and TunalSus, while the TunalTopNeo is mounted almost invisibly on the window profile. The range also includes recessed and surface-mounted wall grilles with or without flange, equipped with V or Z blades. These same slats form the basis of the slat wall system. At the request of architects, window manufacturers, installers and contractors, the company also develops so-called "solutions on demand.
The Deceuninck Tunal range includes different types of thermally broken aluminum glass grilles, whether or not equipped with a self-regulating damper. Thus, the Tunal75 is available in three versions (S/L/XL) with an air throughput of 50, 76 or 105 m³/h/m at 2 Pa, respectively. This multi-flow is obtained by a modified perforation of the removable aluminum inner profile. ZR Basic and ZR High are self-regulating versions within this Tunal75 family. Tunal65, Tunal80 and the acoustically damping TunalSus family complete this range of window ventilation on glass.
"With our TunalTopNeo we offer a thermally broken ventilation grille with a flow rate of 57 m³/h/m at 2 Pa that is placed on top of the window profile, almost invisible to the eye.
A self-regulating damper (class P3) reacts automatically to pressure differences and wind strength, supplying fresh and healthy air without drafts. "The air flow can be controlled manually thanks to an inner flap, which can be placed in 5 positions (open, closed and 3 intermediate positions) using a lever on the left and right," says Maarten Van Parijs, general manager at Deceuninck Tunal.
"Our range also includes the TunalTopNeo DB 43 with compact acoustic module for spaces, where the influence of outdoor noise is greater. In turn, the TunalTopNeo ELEVATION series, equipped with an innovative P436 rain canopy, is ideally suited for integration in high-rise buildings as well as in projects on the coast, where one often has to deal with fierce rainstorms and heavy squalls."
In addition to this window ventilation, Deceuninck Tunal offers an extensive range of wall grilles, constructed with different aluminum slats and frame profiles, which can be seamlessly integrated into window, door and façade systems. Thus, this range includes recessed window and wall grilles with or without flange, constructed with V-blades with a step of 20 and 34 mm or Z-blades with a step of 34, 50, 60, 65 and 75 mm. There are also surface-mounted wall grilles with a 20 V-blade and a 34 Z-blade. The same slats form the basis for a slat wall, which is used for the visual shielding of installations or the protection of facades from rain, vermin, birds or noise, in each case while maintaining air permeability.
Deceuninck Tunal's ventilation grilles, wall grilles and slat wall systems are available in a wide range of colors. Thus, the most popular colors from the joinery world were bundled into a collection of 315 standard colors, of which the 15 bestsellers are available from stock.
"Since the systems are also available in Deceuninck's 16 'smart colors,' windows, ventilation grilles, wall grilles and cladding can now be ordered in the same color, creating a uniform facade," Van Parijs concludes. "Architects, window manufacturers, installers and contractors can contact us directly for technical support, quotations, delivery times and after-sales service. They can choose from our standard solutions, but, if required, we think with them to develop specific solutions for their projects with cladding and solar shading."
