Henderson's Securefold range consists of groundbreaking door hardware, suitable for inward or outward folding wooden as well as steel doors, that guarantees a very easy opening of a façade. The Securefold program not only enriches a space, but also stands for high and durable quality. Securefold is committed to the highest production standards, fully in line with EN ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:1996. All components are made of stainless steel quality, anodized aluminum or manufactured from state-of-the-art polymer technology. The suspended roller bearings are the heart of the Securefold system. The combination of a solid body cast from stainless steel 316, equipped with stainless steel bearing wheels of durable quality and high quality polymer guide wheels, guarantee a modern product that can be built on. Securefold combines the advantages of folding doors with corrosion resistance, even in coastal areas. All components also effortlessly passed the 100,00 cycle tests according to EN 1527.

Noiseless usability

The design ensures discreet and simple operation, without having to compromise aesthetically on the appearance of the doors. In closed position an eye-catcher, in open position neatly and compactly concealed for completely free passage. 

"The special wheels ensure that no disruption can occur during folding and the hanging rollers remain perfectly in line with the rails," says René van den Biggelaar, Business Unit Manager at Henderson Netherlands. The aluminum rail, natural or black anodized, features grooves for sealing brushes. "The rail, together with the bearing wheels, ensures a noiseless and smooth operation."

Creative freedom through complete program

The complete Securefold range offers solutions suitable for every conceivable application. Securefold 100, for inward and outward folding doors up to 100 kg, is available in brushed satin and black versions. Brass is available on request. The Securefold system has vertical and horizontal adjustment options. In addition, an aluminum sill is available especially for inward and outward folding doors with a door thickness of 67 mm. Securefold Lower, suitable for doors up to 80 kg, comes with a DTS sill. 

This system has the advantage that the bottom profile is completely hidden from view when in the closed position. "Securefold Onderlopend carries the load of the doors at the bottom of the system, eliminating the need for a large structural upper structure," says Van den Biggelaar. 

"Both Securefold 100 and Securefold Lower are available with inlet or surface-mount hinges and are suitable for rebated and obtuse doors." Securefold is additionally available in a variant suitable for overhead doors up to as much as 150 kg (Securefold 150), available in brushed satin finish, and comes equipped with surface-mounted hinges.

In addition to all the features of Securefold 100, Securefold Ultra offers even better wind and water tightness according to EN 12208 and EN12210. Ideal for applications with extreme weather conditions. All hinged and folding doors can also be secured with special magnets to prevent wind from having free rein. Securefold Ultra is also a burglar-resistant system, according to EN 1627 class 2. 

"The total Securefold range thus allows for great creative and technical freedom in various applications," Van den Biggelaar said. 

New: Securefold Multipoint

New to the Henderson Securefold range is the Multipoint, suitable for all existing Securefold applications, both interior and exterior folding. The Multipoint works with a rotary knob or cylinder as an alternative to edge sliders and is suitable for doors with a maximum height of 3,000 mm. "By using the Multipoint, we can now also offer inward-folding solutions for Securefold 150 and the Underflow system," says Van den Biggelaar.
