At the Polyclose trade fair, ROMA presented its wide range of sun protection solutions, with a focus on functionality, flexibility and design. ROMA is best known for window blinds, but showed that blinds can be used in many different ways, for example on apartment balconies. For situations where people want to sit outside comfortably even in winter, ROMA showed a screen with a free-standing guide anchored at the bottom, allowing the user to stay out of the wind.
In addition, ROMA introduced the Mini Guide, a compact and wind-resistant solution for places where full mounting over the vertical length is not possible. By using tensioned steel wire, the awning remains stable even in windy conditions. For special applications such as glass-on-glass corners of 90 or 135 degrees, ROMA showed special solutions that combine flexibility and safety.
In the field of shutters, the new narrow guide of 34 mm presented, ideal for situations with limited space. The shutters are finished with a designer bottom tray, which neatly seals the case and keeps dirt out. The outdoor blinds, a fast-growing product in the Benelux, received attention. These not only provide sun protection, but also let in natural light while providing privacy: residents can look out, while from the outside no one can see in.
With these innovations, ROMA is clearly demonstrating at Polyclose how sun protection can be tailored to modern living and working environments, combining comfort, safety and aesthetics.
