Your role
Do you recognize commercial opportunities and know how to turn them into concrete results? As Technical Sales Advisor you translate technical questions from customers into appropriate solutions. You guide them from the first contact to the contract.
You will work closely with the Benelux team and our Technical Sales department in Germany. You regularly visit customers and prospects throughout the Netherlands. Building and maintaining relationships is in your nature.
What will you do?
- Actively build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and prospects.
- Giving professional presentations at clients and on location.
- Translate customer requests into technical and commercial proposals.
- Preparation and follow-up of quotations.
- Monthly meetings at our Benelux office in West Flanders (Belgium).
- Identify and exploit new market opportunities (including through system houses and suppliers).
- Act as a strong relationship builder with knowledge, empathy and a touch of humor.
What do you bring?
- Experience within our industry is a plus, including a relevant network.
- Technical background (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar).
- Commercial flair and experience in making deals happen.
- Independent, proactive and solution-oriented.
- Market insight and knowledge of current developments.
- Willingness to be on the road a lot.
- Strong communication skills in the Dutch, German or English.
- Ambition to build out own region, including access to a local service team.
