The details make the difference

Society is evolving rapidly and customers are becoming increasingly demanding. Firms are investing heavily in digitalization and automation to increase efficiency and productivity on the shop floor and optimize business processes.

In this digital age, however, external appearances are ubiquitous. We are presented with a certain image, but when we zoom in, we are often suddenly presented with a different reality. At ALINEL, however, they want us to zoom in on their facade system until we see the smallest details. Because it is precisely in those details that ALINEL makes the big difference.

Letterboxes, integrated into the facade or freestanding on the driveway, are a flagship product of ALINEL.

ALINEL, subsidiary of URSUS (Eeklo), specializes in the development and production of aluminum cladding. "It comes down to standing out from the other systems and manufacturers. We do this by constantly developing innovative solutions, but especially by focusing on a thorough degree of finishing," says Managing Director Jan De Paepe. "Every installation must be finished down to the smallest detail with almost invisibly integrated elements, such as doors, garage doors, windows, mailboxes, intercoms, sockets or LED lighting. After all, it is precisely these details that make ALINEL's systems so appreciated by architects and building owners."

LED lighting 2.0

At Architect@Work, ALINEL is introducing its LED lighting 2.0. This new solution is fully incorporated into the system, so it in no way interrupts the vertical lines and the interplay of lines.

ALINEL continues to invest continuously in the development of new innovative elements and the optimization of existing products. At the Architect@Work trade fair in Kortrijk, the company is introducing its  LED lighting 2.0. "ALINEL Type A itself becomes the light fixture here," explains De Paepe. "In the past, standard LED profiles were mounted in the lower surfaces, but this new LED solution is completely incorporated into the system, so it in no way interrupts the vertical lines and the interplay of lines. This saves on profiles and increases the aesthetic value of our systems."

Windows and doors

All ALINEL systems can be mounted seamlessly and in the same plane on facade, door or gate. The specialist attaches great importance to a high degree of finish and a quasi-invisible integration of elements. Thus ALINEL likes all opening and moving parts in the façade and also thinks about transparency. The fact that some parts are opening and/or moving is no problem at all. And there is more, because the combination with transparency is also perfectly possible, where the transparency frames on the one hand provide visibility and light penetration, but on the other hand must also offer sufficient ease of use so that they can be opened or removed without any problems to clean the windows, for example.

"We always try to provide a solution to the architect's or builder's request," indicates the case manager. "For example, we even developed customized door puller profiles for each type of ALINEL cladding. That the level of detailing at ALINEL goes far is further evidenced by the fact that customers can also choose where to place the cylinder lock: to be mounted on the raised rib or completely concealed in the deeper plane of the profile."

Letterboxes

One of ALINEL's showpieces are the mailboxes, which are incorporated into the facade or stand alone as an accent in the front yard. "A mailbox wall forms an aluminum hedge on the driveway, so to speak, and can be several meters long," De Paepe concludes. "We deliver these assembled, ready for installation. Moreover, here too we ensure perfect finishing down to the smallest details. The doors are fitted with invisible hinges and, meanwhile, it is possible to integrate all kinds of elements, from parcel boxes to even LED lighting."
