Software house offers webinars and training online

Corona has sent the world into shock. This pandemic has profoundly changed people's public and private lives and posed great challenges to the economy. Software house Orgadata has taken initiatives so that window manufacturers, door manufacturers and façade builders can continue to work successfully even in times of corona.

Thus, the number of webinars around LogiKal was greatly expanded. Every 14 days, moderator Sebastian Bode now opens his virtual training center and gives tips and tricks, with which the user can plan and produce even more easily and successfully with the software.

Tips & tricks

The series of "tips & tricks" includes simple solutions, which can often lead to great results. For example, during the ninth online session the participants learned, how to record the times of the different steps in a production process and enter them into the software. Based on this data, LogiKal provides support for the window manufacturer's accurate calculation and planning. Another session dealt with the topic of "Building with glass," which has gained importance due to the use of increasingly large glass panes. 

Moderator Sebastian Bode also used webinars to present various modules of LogiKal. For example, he paid attention to the CAD-Suite, which, among other things, can be used to draw and calculate connections to walls, and to the "production units" module, which makes it possible to combine positions and thus reduce waste. Many topics were included at the request of the participants themselves. Indeed, they can share their ideas during a webinar via the special LogiKal chat, turning Orgadata's virtual seminars into attractive, interactive sessions. 

More extensive training

The webinars in English continue every 14 days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and can be attended on PC, tablet or smartphone. However, Orgadata is going one step further and now also offers more in-depth training online. As with the webinars, a
LogiKal users easily participate in these sessions from the concrete workplace or from home. Orgadata's experienced team provides training on various topics, which are tailored one by one to the needs of individual firms. In this way, customers can make even better use of LogiKal's capabilities, delve deeper into already known issues and discover new elements.

The large number of interfaces of LogiKal with other software programs was also already a topic of one of the online sessions. This was represented by the combination with the software package Athena from the company CAD-Plan. The participants could discover how the planning and drawing of an object with LogiKal and Athena from one source was possible without any problems. Moderator Sebastian Bode also showed how window manufacturers and facade builders can make late changes from builders and architects without stress thanks to LogiKal and Athena.

Thinking of one's own people and society

Of course, Orgadata is also protecting its own employees from the dangers of Covid-19. Meetings in the office are replaced by video conferences and chats, and employees continue to work from home to expand and optimize the LogiKal software. Last but not least, Orgadata also helped people, who were severely affected by the contact restriction. For example, the software house has donated tablets to hospitals and retirement homes. Thanks to these devices, sick people and seniors could still keep in touch with their families via video chat.
