Klaes GmbH & Co. KG has profiled itself for years as a digitization partner for companies in the window, door and facade construction industry. Under the motto "We digitize companies," the software house from Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler once again showed off a host of solutions at LIGNA 2025 that convinced not only through innovation, but above all through their consistent practical orientation. It was a resounding success.
"I was really impressed by the interest among the visitors. Spread over the five days of the fair, our technical-commercial team conducted more than one hundred and twenty intensive talks, seventy of which were already pre-determined," says commercial director Torsten Schrader. "These talks were very concrete, goal-oriented and with a clear focus on digital total solutions. The main emphasis was on the continuous flow of information throughout projects-from the first contact with a customer to assembly at the construction site. Most questions concerned DMS systems for a transparent flow of information, digital production processes, solutions for time recording and a cloud-based IT infrastructure for stable operation. We presented new developments and optimizations of our existing product portfolio, which allow to digitize processes and make the operation of companies more efficient and future-proof."
A good example are the two Klaes DMS Integration solutions. These enable easy and fast access to archived documents and e-mails, because they are automatically filtered in advance based on customer and project. All tasks requiring external or internal information are thus performed faster, more securely and more easily.
"Our e-prod horizon links production processes and logistics with new customization options. Thanks to innovative IT technology for web, mobile and desktop applications, customers can make adjustments themselves. This solution ensures more transparent production and also guarantees the user new freedoms in the elaboration of processes. Klaes zeit has everything to do with time recording: This web application convinced the visitors by its flexibility. After all, the information can be consulted on smartphone and tablet, PC, scanner and terminal. This software solution provides transparency and structure, for example using real-time evaluations or the visualization of the leave calendar of the entire team," Schrader explains. "And our Cloud Server is a modern server solution, with which we offer users exactly what they need: stability, security and flexibility. Updates, maintenance and data backups are performed automatically in the background, leaving more time for the essentials. In the office, at home or on the road, there is access to all relevant data anytime, anywhere - secure, powerful and scalable."
Klaes Einkauf was also shown in premiere. This solution provides an automatic flow of information between different departments in a company. It is based on Klaes' new platform, which is prepared for future expansion. Other products in the spotlight were Klaes cRM Solution, a solution for sales management, where data can be easily entered through a standardized way of working, Klaes 3D with augmented reality app for lifelike visualizations of conservatories, facades and terrace coverings in real time on tablet or smartphone, Web connect, which today allows one to retrieve data from eleven suppliers, including Stemeseder and Pirnar, and Klaes Montageplanung that closely intertwines planning and management of orders."
Klaes is not just another software house, but presents itself as a digitization partner for companies in the window, door and facade construction sector. This was given extra emphasis during the LIGNA.
"Visitors have realized that digitization is not an end in itself, but a real competitive advantage. We allow them to work more efficiently, but above all more flexibly and safely thanks to numerous modular solutions. Continuous development and update possibilities guarantee "a longer life span. We also provide appropriate infrastructure solutions - from terminal servers and cloud services to security solutions and DMS - and offer our customers comprehensive support for GDPR-compliant digitization," concludes Torsten Schrader. "At the LIGNA, it became clear once again that digitization works best when it is practical, consistent and simple."
