All-in-1 software package takes frame production to higher level

Fast payback time 

MatrixKozijn is the module on which everything relies. “The program makes it possible to set up frames digitally and automatically generate production lists, order lists and detail drawings from them,” Storms explains. “This saves enormous amounts of time in calculation and work preparation. Moreover, errors are minimized because all data only have to be entered once. For those who want to quote and produce faster and more error-free, this is an investment that quickly pays for itself.”

Paperless production

One of the components of MatrixProject is the MES (Manufacturing Executed Systems) module. Storms: “With MES, the factory is controlled completely paperless. Employees always see the correct drawings and order data on a tablet or PC. This prevents changes from getting stuck in paper folders or being passed on incorrectly. The result: more grip on the production process and less failure costs.”

Another important component is MatrixKozijn CNC. This module provides direct control of machine tools. “Whether it is wood, plastic or aluminum, and whether you want to control one machine or a complete line, MatrixKozijn CNC is suitable for all renowned brands,” said Storms. “With this, we make the step from design to production completely digital and error-free.”

Matrix WebFrame 

Matrix Software is particularly proud of Matrix WebKozijn, a cloud solution that manufacturers can offer on their own Web sites. “With WebKozijn, dealers or contractors can put together their own window frames, calculations and quotes, even with their own logo,” Storms says. “Once the order is placed, the data are sent to the factory in real time. That means: directly from ‘file to production.’ In principle, production can be started the same day. It saves an enormous amount of time and reduces the pressure on scarce professionals in calculation and work preparation.”
