In the Netherlands, we love opening double doors in wood; a product that retains its beautiful appearance and popularity for a long time, both in new construction and renovation projects. Because Dutch door detailing differs from versions in the rest of Europe, SIEGENIA together with KFV devised a new and perfectly lockable all-in-one concept purely for the Dutch market.
All the plus points of two previous KFV stop door solutions are combined here into one new product. According to SIEGENIA, a solid door lock incorporating the most ideal solutions, and for processors an all-in-one solution with plenty of application possibilities. Thanks to the special closing frame, all kinds of combinations can be made when it comes to locks, including SIEGENIA's self-locking multi-point locks.
The BS 90 upright door solution - which can be used in both inward and outward opening doors - has many advantages. The bascule handle with push-button makes its operation particularly easy. The closing strip is positioned in the middle of the door and has extremely favorable dimensions. Other advantages of the BS 90 are its symmetry, the so-called Q adjustment with a large adjustment range of 5 mm on the hook bolts and the attachment, which is shortenable and can be used on the right and left.
The new upright door solution offers plenty of options in the use of different multipoint locks, from the usual BS 2500 and AS 4900 locks to the AS 2750 variant with additional latch bolt, which holds the door in place at the bottom and top. Also of interest is the AS 3600 for a self-locking multipoint lock, with a hook and pin latch that automatically locks the door securely after closing.
The BS 90 upright latch frame variants are easy to work with because the latch can be positioned in the center of the door. The latch bolt insert is interchangeable with the swing away AT 119B or an electric striker plate. Extremely useful in applications on store doors or other security doors where controlled access is desired.
The AS 2750 lock has a dual swing hook-latch combination for high burglary protection up to class SKG** for stolp doors and SKG*** for single doors. The two additional softlock latch bolts provide continued protection against drafts when the door is warped. The lock also provides additional security in the unlocked state. For example, against attempts to flip the door via the latch bolt of the main lock. In addition, the AS 2750 lock provides optimal sealing, thermal and sound insulation. The lock is widely applicable for both residential and commercial construction.
This combination holds the door in place with bottom and top latch locks. The hook locks and self-closing latch bolts ensure that the door is closed at three points when pulled shut. This also prevents opening or dislocation of the door. In addition, the optimal sealing ensures protection against noise and moisture and also significantly improves thermal insulation.
The self-locking multi-point lock AS 3600 features two secondary lock boxes, each with an integrated, mechanical latch and swivel hook. Upon contact with the frame parts, both latch bolts activate the locking procedure. All four locking elements in the secondary lock boxes are closed with back pressure protection in the end position. Using a door handle or key, they are retracted, tensioned and locked for the next activation. In addition, the deadbolt can be locked via the cylinder, thus blocking the door handle. The softlock latch bolt in the main lock case and softlock latch bolt in the ancillary lock cases provide additional security and can be used DIN left and DIN right by converting the latch bolt.
