Technology with magnetism for flush cladding of facade, sectional door and front door

Limitless creativity, easy assembly and replacement

The days of monotonous rows of houses with a brick facade are long gone. Architects, facade builders and building owners are letting their creativity run wild with materials such as architectural concrete, crepi, wood, steel, corten steel, aluminum and even finishes with greenery. With Frager Facade, Harinck offers an innovative circular solution based on their well-known Magnetude® technology for a flush cladding of facade, sectional door and front door. The panels are therefore not glued together, which also saves considerable time during assembly.

The patented Magnetude® technology is now also used to invisibly fasten the exterior panels of a cladding.

The drive for innovation is in Harinck's DNA. Magnetude® is the best proof of this. With this revolutionary technology, door panels are not glued but are fixed with magnets. Problems with dilation were immediately a thing of the past. "We also like a challenge and like to think out-of-the-box," indicates Franck De Munster, business manager at Frager.

"A customer asked us if we could supply him with equivalent panels in which installations for videophony could be integrated. This immediately formed the basis for the development of Frager Facade, which allows one to cover front door, sectional door and facade in the same way, creating a uniform look without visible fasteners."

With Frager Facade, door, garage door and facade can be mounted in the same plane.

Aesthetic and circular

Harinck has customers who supply windows and doors, but also build facades. They can therefore work with the same system across the board. The combination of flat aluminum sheets with recessed shadow joints and tight interior and exterior corner solutions also creates a modern, minimalist design. "The exterior sheet, by the way, does not have to be in aluminum, because copper, brass, glass, mirrors, burned wood in mosaic, ceramic, natural stone, ..., can also be used as a finish. Even a green facade with plants or solar panels is possible. Furthermore, one can very easily integrate lighting elements, videophone or other elements. Creative freedom at the top. For the connections and cabling there is sufficient space between the wall panels and the construction behind", continues the manager.

"Moreover, all parts of this Frager Facade can be easily and completely disassembled and recycled while remaining intact. That is the advantage of fixing with magnets compared to gluing. This development therefore fits perfectly with the trend toward circularity within the construction industry."

Technology with benefits for the processor

Frager Facade also offers advantages for the processor and builder. Just think of the considerable time savings during assembly. On-site gluing takes time and the structure must then be secured with tension screws, which may only be removed again after the drying time.

"With our technology, this is unnecessary. We supply patented customized facade frames, which are simply attached to the underlying structure in the first stage. It makes no difference whether that is stone, wood or even insulation material. After mounting a first frame, the embedded aluminum shadow joint, baseboard or corner is slid into the facade profile. The next gable frame can then be installed. The custom-made exterior panels in aluminum or other materials - up to 3000 mm high and 1500 mm wide - are only finally attached with the magnets. The installation can also be done in all weather conditions, while one cannot bond in rain or a temperature below 8°C," concludes Franck De Munster.

"And there's more. It often happens that building elements suffer damage during subsequent work on the construction site, resulting in annoyance, costs and lost time. With our solution, this does not have to be the case. The exterior panels can simply be assembled the day before completion. If the panels are later damaged or the client wants a new look, they are simply replaced, without using
of tools."
