Zwaluw PU foams now have a shelf life of up to 18 months

Almost all Zwaluw 1-component PU foams now have an extended shelf life of 18 months. Previously these products had a shelf life of between 9 and 12 months. This is the result of further development of the foams and the valves. The improved valves let absolutely no air and moisture through, so that sticking is a thing of the past. The products are guaranteed to have a longer shelf life, saving the reseller and the user costs and reducing the disposal of unused products.

With the longer shelf life polyurethane (PU) foams and higher quality valves, Bostik has created an important advantage; in the market, PU foams have an average shelf life of only 6 to 12 months. Extensive tests have shown that based on current recipes, storage conditions and packaging materials, the 1-component PU foams remain in optimal condition for at least 18 months.
Zwaluw Elast-O-Foam and Zwaluw FlexFoam have an unchanged shelf life of 12 months.

Adhesive foams with combi-valve valve
The adhesive foams Zwaluw Thermo-Adhesive and Zwaluw Stone-Adhesive have recently gained another advantage. Both foams are now equipped with a combi-valve valve, this is a special connection that makes the foams suitable for both hand and gun use. The craftsman only needs to buy one product and therefore always has the right foam at hand. These adhesive foams can be applied directly: without or with a gun.
