As of October 1, Stijn Vermeulen (37) is CEO of Deceuninck Europe. A role he has held ad interim since September 2018, when the integration of Western and Central Europe into one region was started.
"I feel very honored and grateful to be given the opportunity to lead Deceuninck Europe. I am happy that I can count on a strong and supportive team around me. Together we will continue our strategy of integrating into ONE Europe. We aim to further develop our existing business for the longer term and continue to look for additional investment opportunities that create added value."
"The integration into ONE Europe is proceeding on schedule. The first goal is to accelerate our transition to one common product platform in Europe. Our second goal is to bring together our two product brands, Inoutic and Deceuninck, under one global brand, being Deceuninck. We wish to complete this exercise by the Fensterbau Frontale trade fair in 2020. With the strategic choice of one global brand, we aim to maximize the effects of our marketing investments, e.g. the main sponsorship of the Deceuninck-Quick Step World Tour cycling team. This ensures greater brand awareness, which is in the interest of both Deceuninck and our customers."
