Soudal perks up its employees after corona efforts

Soudal honors its employees after corona efforts

During the past two corona years, Soudal employees in Turnhout worked hard. Despite the difficult conditions, everyone ensured a safe and healthy environment. The company was able to turn a turnover of 1.1 billion euros in 2021. In thanks for the efforts made, Vic Swerts, founder and owner of Soudal, is organizing a spectacular party for all employees and their partners on Friday, Sept. 9.

The party will take place in Plant 5, a new Soudal plant under construction a stone's throw from the headquarters on Everdongenlaan in Turnhout. The structural work itself is almost complete; the party will take place in the empty production halls, where the installation of brand new production lines will start next week.

From spring 2023, Plant 5 will be operational. The investment of more than 40 million euros in the plant will provide additional production capacity of adhesives and joint sealants and create additional jobs. Thanks to extensive automation, production will mean less waste and energy consumption. Plant 5 in Turnhout will thus serve as an example for the 24 other and future new production sites of Soudal worldwide.

But before that happens, Plant 5 will thus first host the "55 Years Thank You Party" for 1,200 invited guests next Friday.
