An uninterrupted thermally insulated and airtight building envelope is indispensable for buildings to meet increasingly stringent energy standards. At Soudal, the spotlight at Polyclose is on the total package for optimal installation and sealing of exterior joinery.
One of the eye-catchers remains SoudaFrame SWI (Soudal Window Installation), an intelligent pre-frame system with low thermal conductivity for the installation of exterior joinery. L-shaped profiles are assembled by plug-in connection pieces into an insulating frame, which is mounted as a single unit on the wall using Soudaseal SWI, a hybrid adhesive with high initial adhesion. Unique spring clips guarantee a uniform joint between pre- and window frame. After the window frame is screwed directly into the SoudaFrame SWI frame, the clips can be removed and the gap sealed with, for example, Flexifoam and the liquid Soudatight membranes.
Furthermore, Soudal is also highlighting its high-end industrial products for use in the production of windows and doors, better known under the collective name Soudal Window Manufacturing (SWM). Finally, visitors can also learn about the new waterproof membrane, Soudatight WP, for sealing at the bottom of patio doors, among other things. Soudatight is a series of high-quality polymer pastes that, once dry, form a completely seamless and elastic membrane, ideal for the airtight and vapor-resistant finishing of surfaces, penetrations and connections (window-wall, floor-wall, wall-ceiling and roof connections). These membranes, like the SoudaFrame SWI pre-frame, received Passive House certification.

Lecot is one of the leading top suppliers of window, door and furniture fittings, tools, machinery, safety materials and hardware in the Netherlands and Belgium. At this specialist, they are convinced that proper assembly is essential to achieve a high-quality end product. If the assembly is not done correctly, the product may still be of such high quality. This is why the company is also participating in this edition of Polyclose under the name Optimont, or: optimal assembly.
Lecot wants to unburden its customers completely. Thus, the specialist focuses on the complete assembly process: from possible disassembly of windows and doors to transport, assembly, finishing and delivery. Because external installers are often hired in addition to the frame manufacturers with their own assembly teams, Lecot developed an Optimont manual in which this complete process is explained in 11 steps.
Sound assembly is also the focus at Polyclose with a booth built around window and door modules, representative of installation situations in the Netherlands and Belgium. The company assists customers with a library of several tens of thousands of Lecot products. From these, customers can compile a list of relevant items and the program then automatically selects the right hardware for each project. Lecot Fleet guarantees hassle-free fleet management, where one does not buy electrical and battery tools but rather rents them. Finally, Lecot Connect is the smart tracking and management tool for work materials. Lost pieces are a thing of the past and all relevant info is carefully tracked.

GEZE always has a suitable solution available for the realization of a livable working environment: automatic door systems and technologies, glass systems, smoke and heat extraction systems, security systems and window and ventilation technologies.
We spend two-thirds of our lives indoors. Therefore, a healthy indoor environment is crucial for people's comfort and well-being. Good ventilation is the key factor. The automated window systems from GEZE are not only user-friendly and energy-efficient, but also enable smart and natural ventilation. In addition, they can be electronically controlled via CO2- and/or temperature sensors. If the CO2-content in a room then becomes too high, that system causes the windows to open automatically. It is even possible to link the window systems to the building management system. These window systems can also be used within smoke and heat extraction systems. With GEZE, all components of the SHEVS systems come from the same manufacturer: from emergency power stations and smoke or heat detectors to supply and extract air systems.
GEZE is of course also highlighting other products at Polyclose, including door closers and automatic door systems. One of the company's showpieces is the Powerturn, the powerful automatic swing door operator. Thanks to the unique Smart Swing technology, even small children and seniors can open doors weighing up to 600 kilograms with minimal effort. The consultants at GEZE cannot wait to provide appropriate answers to your questions.

Fully automated production lines for unmanned machining of plastic and aluminum profiles
Soenen Hendrik specializes in the development and production of automatic production lines for windows (frames) in PVC and aluminum. The company also works on fully automatic solutions for the processing of aluminum profiles for terrace coverings, balustrades, curtain walls, ...... The specialist from Izegem assists the customer from A to Z: from planning production to assembly and service. Those who invest in the intelligent solutions of Soenen Hendrik choose for a far-reaching automation of the production process, where the intervention of the operators is reduced to a minimum.
"We strive to always be a big step 'ahead' technologically. An operator places the profiles on the feed table, after which it can be switched on at another place in the production process. The machine automatically recognizes the profiles and then performs the job perfectly. This allows the profiles to be milled and drilled (including flux drills and tapping) in the first stage, after which they are then sawn and counter-profiled (contour moulding) fully automatically. Each piece is fully finished and is provided with an automatically adhered label. The finished profiles are sorted fully automatically on an output table," explains sales representative Pepijn Carlier. "This Smart Machine can operate unmanned and is equipped with self-optimization and automatic tool breakage detection. The operation of the tool that needs to be replaced is automatically taken over by other available tools, thus avoiding any machine downtime. The open source software controls any package. Adding new profiles or operations is child's play.
As a machine builder, Soenen Hendrik knows his machines through and through. As a customer you are and stay with one machine constructor, one "one-stop-shop. You have only one point of contact for everything: from development over sales and follow-up to installation and service. Due to the direct contact between the customer and the machine builder's specialists, very much can be worked out to size. At Polyclose, the team of Soenen Hendrik would like to welcome you at either booth."

At Novatio, the focus since 1978 has been on the care and aftercare of windows and doors, sectional doors, awnings, patio covers, .... With more than 1,000 products for bonding, sealing, maintaining, treating and cleaning, the family business from Olen always has a suitable solution for every specific challenge. They now offer a complete range of products for use during the preparation of the bonding process, during the production and assembly of windows and doors and for maintenance and repair. Together with its customers, the company also developed maintenance boxes for aluminum and PVC windows, doors, gates and patio covers. Under the motto 'Novatio Made for Makers', the company is once again heading to Polyclose with a number of innovative developments. Everyone knows that correct preparation of workpieces is crucial for a perfect finish. For example, it is important to prevent corrosion in aluminum profiles.
Novatio is therefore introducing new protection products for profile cuts and new bonding products for corner joints. Furthermore, it is also necessary to protect joinery during the period between installation and project completion. After all, it can be damaged during the work of other construction partners. Therefore, a removable coating was developed, which can be used to protect profiles, doors, windows and gates.

FUHR Benelux is taking part in Polyclose for the sixth time. Once again the stand will be buzzing with innovation, including SmartTouch and SmartConnect Door as well as the new concept for plastic window frames, which is already being used successfully for wood and aluminum.
People in the Netherlands are becoming more and more "PVC-minded. With the new concept for plastic window frames, processors can use all FUHR applications from one milling model. This applies to the entire range of key- and crank-operated locks, as well as to the autosafe range. There is one milling size for the locking parts and the locking frames. Only the motor operation requires additional milling. It does require a different approach for the processor, but they soon reap the benefits, according to the manufacturer.
Another innovative development is SmartTouch. A door equipped with this technology registers the presence of a SmartTouch transponder in the user's pocket, requiring them to simply touch the door handle to gain access. That same transponder can also be used as a handheld transmitter to open the door remotely. SmartConnect Door is a video intercom with built-in home server. One can use it to control locks, grant access and even move the shutters, blinds or garage door. According to the manufacturer, it is a very convenient way to grant access, based on FUHR's locks.

A lot of time AND money is often lost during the production process, without being aware of it. Moreover, finding the right people remains a huge challenge. This is why companies invest in the optimization of their production lines and processes. Tryma Machines is a supplier and installer of machines and accessories for the production of windows and doors: from a standard machine to a complete production line.
One thing is clear: manufacturing companies need more efficiency. This can be achieved by automating various steps in the process. Especially in logistics, a lot can often be saved in this way. At Tryma Machines, a project always starts with a meeting in which the customer's objectives for today and within, say, 5 years are discussed. This is how the machine supplier's specialists arrive at a design for a "new factory," which is then reviewed with the customer.
The result is a plan of action and a phased investment plan. In addition to machine tools, software is also discussed. After all, it is also important to keep the factory running and profitable. Tryma Machines works with a number of partners in automation, acting as the project manager who speaks the language of both customer and software house. According to the supplier, 100% efficiency is not feasible, but technical developments continue unabated. Tryma keeps its finger on the pulse as far as trends are concerned and also steers them where possible.

Circular construction is becoming the new standard and Deceuninck is already prepared for it today. With Phoenix, the company developed a first product series consisting of 100% of recycled plastic. At Polyclose they are unpacking a full range of 13 main profiles as well as other profiles made of recycled plastic. The Forthex reinforcements for these profiles are also made from recycled material.
In addition, Deceuninck wants to respond to the latest trend, where people no longer think 'mono' but rather 'hybrid'. After all, today architects and building owners no longer choose only plastic or aluminum, but both systems are integrated together in one building. The manufacturer demonstrates this 'hybrid thinking' between its plastic and aluminum systems side by side in an innovation table.
Polyclose is traditionally the showcase for innovations, even though it remains a static fair. Deceuninck wants to change that. Besides the usual stand with product innovations, the company has a second stand, where live demonstrations for the processor will take place. The emphasis is on the correct gluing of glass to achieve top performance in terms of insulation as well as wind and water tightness. In addition, a unique concept will be shown with a manual tool to remove the seal and thus remove the glazing beads without damaging the window. The specialist is also presenting systems based on the Elegant and Decalu profiles and AGC Glass Europe's Fineo vacuum glass.

Venster Techniek is a specialist in sill systems and lift-slide doors, while the Themans name is synonymous with quality hardware. It is a tradition for both firms to share a booth at Polyclose.
One of the most recent developments from Venster Techniek is the VTD sill, a fully polyester sill reinforced with fiberglass. As with the other products in the range, any desired detailing is possible, according to the manufacturer. EEAL sills, including a specific model for plastic window frames, will also be on display. In addition, the company has also further developed the plastic lift-slide door. This was already presented at the previous edition of Polyclose and then further developed based on visitor feedback. This system was tested with more than 600 Pa and, according to the manufacturer, scores excellently in terms of wind and water tightness. All demo doors are equipped with hardware of the new brand SLUIT.NL.
At Themans Hanging and Hardware, the carpentry manufacturer wants to inspire and emphasizes wooden elements. According to the manufacturer, a wooden frame traditionally shows a lot of material, while aluminum, steel and plastic systems show a trend towards narrower profiles. Themans wants to show that this is also possible with wood, without loss of quality and good properties and with matching hinges and locks. Locks will be integrated in the demo setups. The urge for innovation remains high at the specialist in hinges and locks. Witness a new adjustable hinge, a stylish closing strip and a new lintel.
