The Zelhem manufacturer of sills, glass stop profiles and sealing profiles for wooden and plastic window frames can therefore call itself a special market player. The recent introduction of an online ordering system for manufacturers of wooden and plastic window frames is a typical example of this. "We can now serve our clients even faster, more accurately and more efficiently," says commercial technical consultant Thomas de Jong.

The development of the ordering system grew out of "the four certainties" of Window Technology. Knowledge and understanding of the customer's process form the basis for the company. Whether the question relates to plastic or wood, the best fitting solution is always devised. "Thanks to our advanced production facilities, we can customize all our products," says De Jong.
After introducing an online ordering system for plastic window frames, Window Technology then launched a similar ordering environment for wooden window frames. "Our range of wooden window frames is enormously diverse and the ordering options are numerous," says De Jong. "Added to the customer's need to provide wooden sills with their own detailing, this digital portal therefore fulfills a clear need."
In the new system, the customer logs in via the Venster Techniek site and then specifies the dimensions and desired sill detailing. At the same time, it becomes clear when the placed order will be delivered.
"In time, the intention is to link the system with the customer's work preparation package so that they can order from us at the touch of a button. That will be our focus in the coming period."
