Window and door manufacturer Schüco will certainly be one of the major eye-catchers, with a number of very striking aluminum novelties. These include the Belgian premiere of the brand new sliding system Schüco ASE 80 LC, a stylish combination of design, comfort and German top quality.
The Schüco Group strives for leadership worldwide. Continuous innovation, cutting-edge technology and service orientation are crucial in this, as well as a focus on new forms of living and working or environment and sustainability. Today, Schüco is already opening a window to the future with comfort-enhancing innovations in the areas of automation, ventilation, security, acoustics and urbanization. Schüco windows, doors and curtain walls are used worldwide in private homes, apartments, offices and public buildings.

At Polyclose, Schüco is showing the integration of the FWS 35 PD with the transparent sliding system ASE 67 PD.
For example, Schüco is known for its particularly elegant sliding systems with concealed hardware and slim profiles. The ASE 80 LC - where LC stands for "Lean Construction" - is the newest member of this family. Its design is ultramodern. Everything is aimed at letting in as much light as possible, without sacrificing energy efficiency and comfort. With this new system, wing weights of up to 500
kilogram and sash heights and widths of up to 3.5 meters are among the possibilities. This perfectly highlights the main quality of this system: the way in which large and at the same time highly transparent sliding elements can be realized. Thanks to the "Design Line" flat sill, a barrier-free connection from inside to outside can be created very easily. For maximum transparency, one can opt for a filigree hook range of only 40 mm. In addition, it is possible to integrate SmartStop and SmartClose modules, which automatically gently brake and close the sash. In terms of security, the ASE 80 LC also has a lot to offer, with a burglar resistance rating of up to class 2.
Another novelty is the FACID. In renovations or new construction, it is often desirable to shield the building from climatic influences with textiles. The FACID is the future of this covering. It preserves a maximum view from inside to outside while providing optimal protection from sun and rain. The fabric is available in different colors and digital prints can be made on it so that it can become a real communication tool. Both the design and the communication applied to it can be changed quickly and flexibly, without affecting the building itself. FACID can thus be adapted very efficiently to changed circumstances or requirements. Moreover, the elements are highly recyclable, prefabricated and easy to install.

Finally, Schüco highlights the integration of the facade system FWS 35PD and FWS 60 CV. Perfectly transparent architecture requires large areas of glass combined with pure, narrow profile systems. This gap between aesthetics and narrow construction requirements could not be completely bridged until Schüco developed the FWS 35 PD, with its low view width of 35 mm. At Polyclose, Schüco is showing the integration of the FWS 35 PD with the transparent sliding system ASE 67 PD. The result is a thermally highly insulated aluminum construction with virtually profile-free transparency, summarized by Schüco under the fitting description "seamless," or seamless.
