New lift-slide door system

Schüco Polymer Technologies KG presented Schüco LivIngSlide, a plastic lift-and-slide door system that meets the highest demands for comfort, design, safety and energy savings, as well as being easy and quick to process and install.

Schüco LivIngSlide is based on a sash profile construction with four chambers. With a sash construction depth of 82 mm, the system achieves Uf values of up to 1.3 W/(m2K). In the white version, element sizes of 6500 mm wide and 2800 mm high can be realized, taking into account a maximum sash weight of 400 kg.

The stability of such large structures is obtained by steel reinforcements in the wing that are executed as closed rectangular tubes. With fixed and movable sashes, smooth elements with two, three and four sashes can be combined and implemented as a sliding system with one or two tracks. A carriage support serves for secure centering and fastening and guarantees comfortable operation. Depending on the element variant, burglary protection up to RC2 is possible. With a frame construction depth of 194 mm, the system is suitable for new construction and renovation in any climate zone.

This solution is included in the Schüco LivIng platform and is therefore compatible with the window and door system of the same name. Thanks to an extensive range of foils, the exclusive surface technology Schüco AutomotiveFinish or the click-on TopAlu aluminum cover plates, the profiles can be supplied in a wide range of colors.
