'Made for Makers'

'Makers' must be able to be proud of their work. As such, it should be perfect to perfection and stay that way for many years to come. Novatio has been developing and supplying solutions for the assembly, cleaning and repair of windows, doors and gates since 1978. The wide range includes lubricants, surface treatment, cleaning agents, bonding products. They are used by manufacturers in production, but also by private individuals for maintenance. Under the motto "Novatio Made for Makers," the Olen-based company is heading to Polyclose with, among other things, new innovative protection and bonding products for corner joints and a removable coating for the protection of window and door joinery during work.

At Novatio, the focus is on the care and aftercare of windows and doors, sectional doors, awnings, patio covers, .... The Belgian family business has become an international player with today more than 100 employees, active in 28 countries, offering innovative solutions and concepts for maintenance and repair in construction, as well as in industry and the automotive sector. 

"With a team of technical consultants, we focus specifically on the windows and doors sector. We listen to market demands and convert those needs into a specific product. This does not involve mass production, but we look for specific solutions within a particular product group. To this end, we have our own R&D department and scientific lab in Olen, which is continuously working on optimizing existing products and developing new, innovative solutions," says brand manager Geert Vanlommel. 

"With more than 1,000 products for bonding, sealing, maintaining, treating and cleaning, we have the right solution for every specific challenge. We now offer a complete range of products for use during the preparation of the bonding process, during the production and assembly of windows and doors as well as for maintenance and repair. Together with our customers, we also developed maintenance boxes for aluminum and PVC windows, doors, gates and patio covers. These Maintenance boxes consist of products for cleaning, protection and lubrication. They are used on the shop floor at manufacturers, who also offer them to distributors. Those in turn can then sell them to the end customer." 

Innovation at Polyclose 

Novatio has been an established player in Belgium for years, but also focuses on the Dutch market, which does require a different approach. The specialist also continues to invest continuously in innovative products. Thus, at Polyclose, they are once again presenting some exceptional new products for the window and door sector. "Everyone knows that correct preparation of workpieces is crucial for a perfect finish. For example, it is important to prevent corrosion in aluminum profiles. We are therefore introducing new protection products for the saw cuts of the profiles and new bonding products for the corner joints," says brand manager Geert Vanlommel. 

"Furthermore, it is important to protect joinery during the period between installation and project completion. After all, it can be damaged during the work of other construction partners. We have therefore developed a removable coating that allows profiles, doors, windows and gates to be protected. Thus, no damage occurs and endless discussions on the construction site are avoided.
