HEBO Kozijnen has moved into new premises

Of course, we had already taken a look at the new building when everything was under construction. We accepted with both hands the invitation of Norbert Kuipers, director and owner of HEBO Kozijnen in Hengevelde, to come and admire the completed -and already in use- building. Even from the road, the new building makes an impression, due to the unusual architecture combined with the corporate identity color incorporated into the building. If anything characterizes the new HEBO building, it is hospitality. This begins in the parking lot, where there is a wide choice of parking spaces. Next to the building, in front of the building (including charging stations), or on the parking deck on top of one of the halls. The interior architecture exudes atmosphere and warmth and invites you to come along.

Comments Staff

"On Oct. 19, we officially inaugurated the building," Kuipers says. "The staff was a bit overwhelmed seeing the result. To begin with, we have furnished a canteen that in no way resembles a standard canteen. Everything is high-end designed, built and finished."

There is a relaxed atmosphere in the cafeteria. Relaxation is a key word in the new set-up anyway. A game room, a kitchen where cooking can be done for guests, with dining facilities and a real cinema in the building are proof of that.

A property with a mission

Kuipers says the property has a clear mission: to allow the phenomenon of "window frame" to be experienced in the most beautiful way imaginable. "That starts with the building itself. The adventure begins outside, you are taken inside and there the experience continues. The entire interior of the building, no floor excepted, is a real 'experience'. Our people work and relax in the middle of this world of experience and our guests can also immerse themselves in it. Indeed, people are at the center here, whether they are our employees, contractors, architects or their end customers."

We agree with Kuipers that you cannot "fake" hospitality. He says: "Sincere attention is the only thing that matters. That is why an enormous amount of attention has been paid to this building. Our staff also radiates that, through their eye for the visit, their friendliness and commitment."

Dynamic showroom

The first HEBO location - where the HEBO formula once started - houses the production of the wooden window frames with a showroom that is still talked-about in its own way.

"That's a static showroom. Very nice, with a traditional arrangement of window frames. In this new building, which also houses the production of the plastic window frames, we have a dynamic showroom," Kuipers says during the tour. The frames are presented; they are 34 frames that can be shifted from the wings of the HEBO theater. "17 frames display in various atmospheres the window frames for bungalow construction and 17 frames are focused on project construction. The great thing is that we will use an interplay of online and offline presentation. In a Pinterest-like way, customers can put together a mood board online, showing their favorite window frames. The end result can be sent to HEBO, when people then come here, we have compiled a profile based on that 'customer DNA' that is shown here live. So the whole presentation falls within the customer's field of interest and perception. Choice stress? That no longer exists then."

Built on the future

HEBO is not afraid to invest in its own business. The new building is therefore completely "future proof. "We are so well automated that we can work as efficiently as possible. Our prefab formula offers plenty of sales opportunities and a healthy profit for bungalow builders and project builders. Attaching real experience to our products gives our window frames identity. Our customer can walk in with his end customer and use all our presentation tools. In the special living room (with fireplace) they can lounge and give BIM/VR presentations. Afterwards, the customer can be pampered with freshly prepared food and a drink. Indirectly this will stimulate the sale of window frames, I am sure. We also see a social role for our building by making space available to people from the area. The building may be brand new, but we don't forget where we came from," Kuipers concluded.
