GND webinar smoke-fire June 24, 2021 - Stricter requirements for smoke-resistant doors

During an online webinar on June 24, 2021, specialists from the Fire Service Academy (IFV), test institute Peutz and GND warranty doors will explain the new requirements, the role doors play in preventing smoke propagation and what it means for fire-resistant doors.

The new requirements are more realistic and provide real resistance to smoke. The mandatory self-closing of residential entrance doors in residential buildings that recently came into effect and the Quality Assurance Act (expected to take effect next year) are also covered. In addition, control and recognition of smoke and fire doors with the correct classification will be discussed.

The online webinar will take place on June 24, 2021 from 12:30 to 1:35 p.m. The event is interactive and free to all. The webinar is of interest to consultants, engineers, construction management, fire departments, environmental services, construction supervisors, inspectors, contractors, processors, clients, housing associations and architects in residential and commercial construction.
