The German company takes into account the challenges of local architecture and international trends in design when developing systems, while also complying with technical regulations and safety standards. The windows IDEAL 7000 and 8000 NL and the smart-slide sliding system are new at Polyclose.

Window manufacturer aluplast is an internationally successful German family business, which in 37 years has managed to grow into the top 5 in its industry. The success story started in 1982 when Manfred J. Seitz founded the company in Ettlingen, near Karlsruhe. In 2017, he passed the torch to his two sons Patrick and Dirk, and in 2018 the company management was expanded to include Eric Bobay (CEO), Arne Przybilla and Frank Spies.

"Our customers are frame manufacturers around the world, who process the plastic profiles according to aluplast's specifications to make window frames, doors, sliding doors and shutters," says marketing director Karsten Ackermann. "Our success stems from a combination of different aspects. On the one hand, aluplast takes into account the challenges of local architecture and design trends, but on the other hand, the systems also comply with the highest technical regulations and safety standards."

New window systems

At Polyclose, aluplast is unveiling the new window systems IDEAL 7000 NL and IDEAL 8000 NL, which are perfectly tailored to the challenges and requirements of Dutch architecture and building methods. However, the products not only excel in terms of aesthetics and design, but they also deliver top performance in terms of insulation and durability. "These new systems are ideally suited to the Dutch building style and, of course, the profiles are equipped with a stopper so that they can be mounted in set frames. The IDEAL 8000 NL is a center seal system with triple sealing, equipped with safetec inside as standard. As a third seal, the fixed middle lip provides increased insulation and also prevents the sash from being lifted quickly. Also, the hard center lip ensures that the hardware is not accessible to burglars and the hardware sits in a dry environment, so moisture and salt air do not affect the hardware," Ackermann explains.

The new window systems IDEAL 7000 NL and IDEAL 8000 NL are perfectly tailored to the challenges and requirements of Dutch architecture.

"Our IDEAL 7000 NL is a stopper sealing system. With its 15° slant and unique bevel, this system is perfectly tailored to the needs of the market and offers the frame manufacturer every opportunity to create the best windows for his customers. Glass with a thickness of 14 mm to 51 mm can be integrated without problems." Both new profile systems can be supplied in the many existing colors. From the first quarter of 2020, they will also be available in the new colors jet black mat and woodec. Woodec is a wood-look film, which can hardly be distinguished from real wood.

An all-round talent

Those who work with aluplast systems appreciate the fact that they can be processed efficiently and that they are perfectly coordinated with one another. This also applies to the new smart-slide sliding system. On the one hand, short production times ensure high processing efficiency. Only one sash has to be made for the frame that can be welded all around. After all, the glazing of the fixed part is done directly with a glass frame in the frame. On the other hand, this sliding system achieves top results in terms of insulation and tightness and can be operated very easily. To open and close the sash, you do not need to be a power armorer and a wrong action is almost impossible, since the sash itself slides into the frame. An innovative locking system and high-quality brushless seals result in a very good tightness. The combination of all technical features makes the system extremely air, wind and driving rain tight. Compromises are not necessary. This smart-slide is also equipped with innovative and stable hardware, reducing the need for maintenance and service by the processor.

Ready for the future

aluplast is perfectly equipped for the challenges of the future both internationally and in Germany. Thus, the German manufacturer of window systems has already been awarded twice the TOP100 Award for most innovative medium-sized companies.
