Family business Schipper Kozijnen kicks off 50th anniversary celebration

Schipper Kozijnen exists 50 years. Today the 50th anniversary was kicked off with a festive breakfast for all 220 employees in the recently completed factory expansion. At the start of the anniversary year, the house style of the North Holland family business was also given a new look. The familiar Schipper Kozijnen logo with the cube has been refreshed.

Managing Director Jurian Tabbers on reaching this milestone. "Reaching this 50th anniversary is quite a celebration for us. Spread out over the year we are going to organize festivities to put our company, the employees and our customers in the limelight. At the same time, it is also a time to reflect on the development we have gone through as a company. I am really incredibly proud of our people and what we have achieved together".

Carefree more living comfort
Tabbers talks enthusiastically about the new corporate identity. "We choose a new contemporary look but very emphatically while retaining our 50-year history. The logo features our family name Skipper central. We are well aware that renovating a home is a major event. In doing so, we see it as our job to make this process hassle-free".

"This starts with sincere attention, but is then confirmed in every step of the process: in the thinking along, the inventive solutions, the quality of people and products, in the approach and execution of the work and the aftercare. That is the strength of Schipper and we summarize this in our new slogan 'carefree more living comfort'".

The basis of success
With its home base in Opmeer and showrooms throughout the country, Schipper is a great employer. One where people enjoy working, often for a very long time. "We realize very well how special that is. We invest in our employees and our organization so that we can continue to develop and grow. Because the dedication and enthusiasm of our people are the solid foundation of our success. And working together is really working together with us," Tabbers emphasizes. 

Sustainable, incorruptible and social
The world is changing and so is Schipper Kozijnen. Great strides are being made in this and, in Tabbers' view, this professionalization is sometimes quite exciting. "But we do it the way we do everything: the Schipper way. With short lines of communication and from a great sense of social responsibility. For example, we work closely with De Verbinding, a factory for the deaf and hard of hearing. We cherish the values of the family business that we have always been".

Schipper offers a total package around plastic and aluminum window frames, doors, sliding doors, dormers, curtain walls, entrance and store fronts. For the production of sliding doors and dormers, Schipper has been working with De Verbinding BV for more than 10 years. In this unique factory, deaf and hard of hearing employees make high quality products.
