Specialist in profile systems introduces new generation of glass adjustment

The German company OnLevel GmbH revolutionized glass more than a decade ago with Flex-Fit - the world's first single-sided adjustable system. This technology is now being taken to an even higher level with TURBOFLEX, the latest innovation in glass fastening. "This makes the installation process faster and easier than ever before," says Erwin Stegenga, responsible for OnLevel's marketing in the Benelux.

Building on Flex-Fit, the technology that has now amply proven itself in the market, TURBOFLEX goes a decisive step further. "Thanks to our new system, the glass practically aligns itself and the closing mechanism adjusts automatically. This eliminates the need for complicated adjustments and lengthy fine adjustments," is how Erwin Stegenga succinctly summarizes the most important advantages of this new generation of glass adjustment.

Easy installation

As with all its profile systems, OnLevel has also developed and marketed TURBOFLEX entirely in-house. "From a technical point of view, it is a completely new concept that is distinguished above all by simple installation," explains Erwin. "For example, height adjustment is possible that guarantees perfect alignment. Also, the glass is aligned exactly where it is important, namely directly on the glass. And as mentioned, this new system also does not require any complicated retrofitting. Furthermore, there is optimum tolerance adjustment: whether small deviations or large variations, TURBOFLEX perfectly compensates for every tolerance. All this not only ensures optimum precision, but also saves a lot of time." 

Safe and stable

According to Erwin, the great simplicity of installation also means that the processor does not need all kinds of specialized tools to install TURBOFLEX. "No, a simple cordless drill with a screw bit is already sufficient. This also makes this new system ideally suited for technical personnel who are not specifically trained in the alignment of a glass balustrade, for example. Thanks to this ease of use, everyone can quickly learn to work with TURBOFLEX." 

With this latest innovation in glass fastening, safety is also of the highest level, continues Erwin: "First, the installation is always done from the walking side of the balcony, i.e. the safe side. Secondly, TURBOFLEX uses only steel components for fixing the glass; this ensures extremely high tested safety and stability. Third, unlike conventional systems, TURBOFLEX completely encloses the glass. This, too, ensures maximum stability and safety."

Less wear and tear

Of German origin, OnLevel GmbH has the right profiles and fasteners for almost all glass applications. Among Dutch and Belgian glass and metal processors, interior design companies and window/wall builders, this prominent manufacturer of high-quality aluminum profile systems has long been a trusted name. Since its founding in 2000, the company has grown large with a wide and high-quality range of aluminum profile systems for glass balustrades and French balconies in particular. For several years, the profile specialist has additionally focused on other profile variants, including for sliding glass doors, interior glass walls, glass clamps and glass holders. 

In this regard, then, TURBOFLEX is the latest crowning achievement. As a result, less water and dirt gets into the profile and there is less wear and tear, so it stays nice longer."
