New upholstery door solutions for optimal living comfort and ultimate safety

During the HoutPro+ in 's-Hertogenbosch, SIEGENIA Benelux presented two new products to the general public. Both the BS90 innovative sliding wood door concept and the new HS slim-sliding system were very enthusiastically received. In particular the numerous possibilities, the simple operation, the efficient processing as well as the excellent acoustic, thermal and burglar resistance performance were appreciated by the visitors.

One type, countless possibilities

After a period of two years in which people have paid plenty of attention to renovation and investment in their own homes, SIEGENIA comes up with even more living comfort. The best of two types of wooden doors are merged into a new wooden door concept: the BS90 upright door solution. 

It can be used in both inward and outward-turning upholstery doors and has many advantages. The bascule handle with push-button makes operation particularly easy. In addition, the closing strip is positioned in the middle of the door and has extremely favorable dimensions. Thanks to optimum sealing, the door protects against annoying noise and at the same time improves thermal insulation, which is of additional added value for consumers in these times with high gas prices.

Simplicity for the processor

The BS90 bellows door solution can be perfectly equipped with the AS3600 and AS2750 multi-point locks with self-closing action. The self-locking action prevents the door from breaking open and dislocating and strongly counteracts draughts. Processors have also been thought of: the updated KFV upright door solution is interchangeable with the swing away AT piece or an electric striker thanks to the latch bolt insert. In addition, the attachment can be shortened, can be used on the right and left and can be used with door heights of 1,870-2,800 mm.

New sliding door system for open living

The new lift-slide system PORTAL HS smart for elements made of wood and wood-aluminum connects inside with outside. This innovative system makes it possible to create open spaces, blurring the boundary between inside and outside. In doing so, SIEGENIA makes an important contribution to both living comfort and the health of residents. 

Smart construction, beautiful appearance

The sophisticated lift-slide system fits perfectly with modern architectural trends, which insist on bringing nature inside and letting light in optimally. These effects are enhanced by the use of wood and the combination of wood and aluminum. Most characteristic, however, is the very narrow profile of only 60 mm. The clever construction ensures an attractive appearance. Also unique in this context is the concealed impact absorber, which is almost invisibly concealed in the guide rail. In terms of operation, the Portal HS is equally clever. The system offers the familiar comfort of manual operation and can be combined with all SIEGENIA motorized lift-slide drives. 

In addition, the Portal HS is optionally equipped with burglar resistance up to SKG^**. An additional security that is complemented by optimal tightness values. For example, the system has a water tightness of class 9A. Just like the innovative opening wood door concept, the new HS slim-sliding system is very easy and efficient to process.
