KUFA 2021 Annual Review

JANUARY

Nijmegen-based Matrix Software received the Preferred Supplier Of The Year Award in January. Unfortunately no live presentation due to the coronation measures but of course the party was no less. In any case, Hans Storms, Matrix's industry manager, was surprised to receive this honor this year. "Actually, I see this Award as a milestone of a long and good cooperation," is his reaction. "It has always felt like we are pulling together."

Matrix received the Award in appreciation for driving innovations in the industry. "For example, the various components of our production lines are now better linked together," says Henk Weber of KUFA Window Systems.

KUFA Raamsystemen has inaugurated a new production site in IJmuiden. On no less than 3,000m², it is visible that robotization and digitization at the manufacturer/manufacturer of, among other things, the revolutionary RenoS9000® profiles are slowly climbing to the highest level.

"Obviously, this also involves striving for better internal logistics," says Didier Holslag of KUFA Window Systems. "We wanted to organize our production processes smarter. SUMMER

The RenoS9000^® profile has emerged in the market as the showpiece of window frame country. Especially the time savings to be achieved are widely appreciated, as the summer of 2021 shows. Henk Weber: "The assembly companies can now assemble more window frames in the same time frame than is normally the case in renovation projects. This solves a problem, because it is currently - and will continue to be - very difficult to find qualified and good personnel. So because of the efficiency of our system, you end up needing fewer employees yourself."

The market also clearly expresses its support for the high insulation value due to the low profile of the profile. The reason? There are more air chambers. This significantly increases the chances of successfully applying for all kinds of environmental subsidies." KUFA also surprised the market by announcing that the RenoS9000^® has become available with single HVL connection.

AFTER YEAR

The champagne bottles could be uncorked in IJmuiden. Burglar-proof doors with real concealed hinges are now finally a reality for plastic window frames! KUFA Raamsystemen had several doors with concealed hinges tested for the SKG Class II burglar resistance certificate. Both doors passed the seal of approval. Meanwhile, the concealed hinges have also been included in the Kufa Online Calculator.

Didier Holslag expects that fairly soon in the new year KUFA Window Systems will enter the market with the patent for the mechanical connector. In addition, "the narrowest profile" in all of Europe will be able to be presented. It is actually a development that originated from the RenoS9000^®. Didier explains that it will be very suitable for new construction and renovation. "We are talking about a sleek design and a high rebate absorption and - not unimportantly - the middle seal is in it. The sum provides a piece of sustainability as well as energy savings. We can't wait until it's ready."
