Spanish multinational Cortizo is presenting its latest PVC solutions for the international market at Fensterbau Frontale in Nuremberg. The eye-catcher is the 70 Hybrid: an innovative system with a PVC core and an aluminum exterior, made entirely from 100 percent recycled profiles of both materials.

Cortizo is exhibiting for the second time at the most important trade fair for the PVC sector in Europe, showing around fifteen new developments. Having emerged as the market leader in PVC systems in Spain and Portugal in just over a decade, the company is continuing its international growth. Its focus is on R&D solutions that combine technical performance, design and sustainability.
At booth 504 in Hall 7A, visitors can learn about a selection of the latest innovations. Among these, the 70 Hybrid is a notable introduction. This mixed system has a construction depth of 70 mm, with 8 chambers in the frame and 5 in the sash. The combination of a PVC core and aluminum cladding provides the best of both worlds: excellent thermal (Uw ≥ 1.1 W/m²K) and acoustic insulation thanks to PVC, combined with the mechanical strength and sleek appearance of aluminum. The system is designed as a competitive, cost-effective solution that couples high performance with minimalist aesthetics. Available with both semi-concealed and fully concealed sashes, the 70 Hybrid is considered the first blended window on the market made entirely of 100 percent recycled aluminum and PVC profiles, produced in Cortizo's own facilities.

In addition to this novelty, Cortizo is introducing the A 78, a PVC tilt-and-turn system with six internal chambers and a recessed depth of 78 mm. With a Uw-value from 0.80 W/m²K and a glazing capacity of up to 48 mm, the system is suitable for energy-efficient projects. The ability to apply the same reinforcement in sash, frame and mullion significantly reduces production time, making the A 78 an attractive solution for projects with large numbers of windows. The design is characterized by completely straight lines, a slender center post of 110 mm and perimeter sight lines of only 98 mm, maximizing the glass area.

In the field of sliding systems, Cortizo is showing the new E 170 lift-slide system. This system follows the trend toward minimalism with a center post of only 50 mm and perimeter sight lines of 85 mm, providing more daylighting. Thanks to a glazing capacity of up to 65 mm and 70 mm deep sashes, the system achieves a Uw value from 0.9 W/m²K.
In addition to the latest introductions, proven systems will also be on display, including the A 84 Hidden Sash Passivhaus. This system combines very high thermal performance (Uw ≥ 0.66 W/m²K) with excellent acoustic values (Rw up to 46 dB) and a contemporary, minimalist appearance. The 90 mm sightlines and the possibility of using the completely invisible Arch Invisible handle underline this character. Also presented are the A 84 Hidden Sash as a balcony door and the A 84 tilt and turn variant with the Cortizo Isolation roller shutter box, a combination that is among the best insulating solutions on the market.

Finally, Cortizo shows solutions aimed at quick and efficient assembly, such as monoblock frames in the A 70 tilt-turn system, as well as the classic C 70 sliding system with a triple rail and a reduced center post of 30 mm.
Visitors can also learn about Cortizo's PVC recycling process, which takes place at its Guadalajara plant near Madrid. This facility has enabled the company to become the first in the industry to recycle both aluminum and PVC completely in-house.
