CF kunststofprofielen has more than fifty years of experience in producing plastic profiles for the construction industry and industry. Based in Gramsbergen, Overijssel, the company supplies profiles to leading suppliers of facade systems throughout Europe. Also at the upcoming edition of Polyclose, CF Plastic Profiles will be present, where it will present various innovations - with the eye-catcher being a new patented standing frame developed together with a partner. “We continue to continuously invest in development, quality and sustainability,” says Senior Key Account Manager Arjan Bosch.

To make customization possible, CF plastic profiles has a fully equipped tool shop. Here CF plastic profiles develops some seventy-five new products annually in close cooperation with the customer. “We really take our customers by the hand,” Bosch continues. “Together we work out their design, optimize it and then translate it into a concrete product. That includes a new mold, which we make ourselves.”
Over the years, the company has built up an impressive database of more than 6,000 different dies. “Of these, about 2,000 are for our standard profiles that we stock and deliver to the market. The other 4,000 are customer-specific dies - exclusive tools with which we produce profiles that are intended only for that particular customer.”

That combination of customization and an extensive standard assortment makes CF plastic profiles a versatile partner. With more than 2,000 different plastic profiles available directly from stock, the company is the partner for facade technology and construction, among others. “However, we distinguish ourselves particularly through customer-specific profiles that we extrude in-house,” Bosch explains. “For these profiles, we also make our own tools and dies in our own tool shop. That is quite unique in our industry.”
The market targeted by CF Plastic Profiles is very broad: in addition to window coverings, it includes the insect screen sector and plastic and aluminum window frames. “For those industries we produce all kinds of auxiliary profiles, including click, guide, mounting and finishing profiles,” Bosch says. “We also supply a wide range of products for both interior and exterior blinds. Think of cloth welding profiles, side guide profiles, tendons and deck scales - all designed for a perfect finish and long life. We also have an extensive range of foam profiles, such as large foamed corner profiles and flat sheets, which are widely used in façade and frame finishing.”
One of the highlights that CF Plastic Profiles will present at Polyclose is a patented standing frame developed together with a partner. “It is a product that we developed on behalf of a customer, but which at the same time is widely applicable in the world of plastic window frames,” Bosch says. “The standing frame is made from a foam profile based on recyclate - a great example of our innovative and sustainable approach.”
Sustainability plays an increasing role in the production process. CF Plastic Profiles is now incorporating more recycled plastics into its products, without compromising on quality or performance. “We are developing new compound materials in which recyclates are already integrated,” Bosch explains. “In this way, our profiles retain their impact resistance and UV resistance, but are produced more sustainably. Next year we are going to focus even more on this.”
