Unique double panic door with burglary class 3

The number of burglaries in offices and industrial buildings is still high, despite the efforts of owners, security companies and police departments. The WICSTYLE 75 EVO double RC3 heavy duty panic door combines high burglar resistance with the panic function, making the system unique.

Moreover, the requirements for offices and industrial buildings are even slightly higher than for a private home. With the new WICSTYLE 75 EVO double RC3 panic door, WICONA responds to this perfectly.

The first impression is all-important, and in buildings, facades and entrance doors are often the house's calling card. A door can have the most diverse functions: the front door of a private home, the entrance to an office building or a hotel, an escape door in a school, day care center, healthcare facility, ..., these are just a few examples. Yet each application has its own requirements. With the WICSTYLE EVO profile systems and the corresponding hardware, WICONA offers the all-rounder among door systems, available in many different versions: doors with one or two leaves, internal and external hinges, with panic and escape function, ....

This WICSTYLE EVO series is the cream of the crop in terms of thermal insulation and building physics features. The systems are available with building depths of 65 and 75 mm, equipped with sashes in all sizes up to 1300 x 2520 mm and weighing up to 200 kg. They have sound insulation values of up to 43 dB and, thanks to thermal insulation to below 0.8 W/(m2K), they can also be integrated into passive buildings. In the development of the door systems, consideration was given to a sleek design, where the sashes inside and outside are flush with the frames and the hinges can be concealed if necessary. The hinges or surface-mounted hinges are available in two variants, anodized and powder-coated. On request, these systems are available with automation, multiple locks, finger protection, ....

New developments
Meanwhile, WICONA continues to invest heavily in the further development of its range. This was also evident this year at the various trade fairs, such as Polyclose or Fensterbau. In addition to the new WICLINE 75 EVO HV curved window, the WICLINE 75 TOP DK window with ventilation flap and the WICTEC 50 EVO curtain wall, among others, WICONA also presented, as the only one in the market, a double panic door with burglary class 3, the WICSTYLE 75 EVO double RC3 Heavy Duty panic door.

While for a house or apartment burglar class 2 (RC2) is sufficient in most cases, for offices and industrial buildings the burglar resistance level is increasingly being raised to class 3 (RC3)," states Jos Visser, product manager at Hydro Building Systems Netherlands.

"Our new double panic door from the WICSTYLE 75 EVO family is unique because it combines high burglar resistance with the panic function. Like all other panic doors, this system is easy to open from the inside with a push bar. But because of the RC3 design, potential burglars from the outside do not stand a chance."
