From clients, the demand for color in interiors is increasing. Door hardware manufacturer Ten Hulscher follows the latest trends and incorporates them beautifully into their collection. Their latest development is a stylish series of GPF cylinders. Complete freedom of choice for the customer is guaranteed, as they choose from a color palette of more than 25 finishes.

Ten Hulscher is constantly innovating in the field of hardware. Moreover, since May 2019, the premises have expanded to include Anastasius Grand Café. We speak to Siebe ten Hulscher about developments within the company.

Total solutions for door hardware

New GPF cylinders make GPF building hardware - the private label of Ten Hulscher - a total solution provider for inside and outside. Siebe ten Hulscher: "Ten Hulscher works according to the principle of GPF CombiVari. This means that in just three steps, a client puts together the door hardware of his or her choice. The door handle is an object of use that has enormous impact on the interior. By adding cylinders to our range, the client can turn to Ten Hulscher for the total door hardware package. From door handles to mortise locks, security fittings and from now on cylinders. This way we are a total supplier and the client finds everything at one trusted address."

The plus of GPF cylinders

"Many cylinders are only available in nickel or brass finishes. From the market, however, we hear a different sound. People want their cylinder to match the finish of their rosette or shield. As Ten Hulscher, we are therefore proud of our new GPF cylinder, available in more than 25 finishes. This is part of its strength, as its color palette ranges from white, through stainless steel and matte brass to copper and black - and many shades in between. It fits seamlessly with Ten Hulscher's wide range of door hardware finishes already on the market. Consider, for example, our extensive program of black door hardware, which we have carried since 2011."

In order to guarantee good security, the GPF cylinder meets strict burglary-resistant requirements. Besides a SKG*** certification the cylinder is also available with SKG** certificate and without SKG qualification. Despite the different certifications they have the same profile, so that they can be made to close equally. Thus, a customer can use one key to operate the SKG*** cylinder in his outer door and the cylinders without certification in his inner doors. Partly due to this technique, the GPF cylinders are also excellent to incorporate in (complex) locking plans. If desired, they are supplied in a wear-resistant version. Due to the extensive choice of sizes, the cylinder can be fitted in both regular and extremely thick doors, with a maximum of no less than 200/200 mm.

From door handle to bar stool

Anyone who visits Ten Hulscher in Garderen will find a beautiful, white building on the edge of the Speulder Forest. The former family hotel has been home to Ten Hulscher since 2000. The showroom offers a wide range of door handles, security hardware and matching furniture and window hardware. In spring 2019, hospitality establishment Anastasius Grand Café also moved into the building. Siebe: "Anastasius is a nice place for young and old. We started the grand café to create an experience around hardware for our visitors and business associates. The passion we have for our door handles, we would like to convey to others. Over a cup of coffee, worlds come together! The customer takes the time to select door hardware and can let his choice sink in over a cup of coffee or lunch. The step from door handle to bar stool is quickly made in our building!"
