One style, down to the smallest details
"With the Häfele hotel range, design concepts can be implemented consistently down to the smallest details," says Bert van der Meer, Sales Manager Projects at Häfele Netherlands. "From entrance door to bathroom accessories, where clients are assured of one style and one supplier. The Häfele hotel range is designed to integrate seamlessly into almost any design. From modern to timeless. And from standard to luxury."

The product range includes two classic basic shapes - round and square - and is always available in four contemporary standard colors, he says: graphite black, brass polished, chrome polished (in the bathroom only) and stainless steel matte. "With this, we guarantee one form language for the most diverse concepts and designs, with minimal effort for the designer, processor and purchaser."

Seeing, feeling and experiencing
That this approach works, hospitality professionals can experience, among other things, at the Inspirium in Breda, where the latest Häfele products can be seen, felt and experienced. "The Inspirium is a 7,000 m² world of experience for interested parties, where seventeen specialists in the fields of interior, technology and equipment show their novelties and innovations," says Van der Meer.   

"Including Häfele. Loox program
Also special is Häfele's Loox program; a plug-and-play system for LED lighting in furniture, says Van der Meer. "Think for example of cabinet and drawer lighting, but also integrated spotlights, bedside lighting and reading lighting, in various designs and colors."

The power supply with color-coded connection not only guarantees easy installation, but also enables other applications. For example, there was already a USB converter for charging devices via a USB port. A connection to an audio system is also possible, where the sound system can be concealed blindly behind a furniture panel. "Operation of the system is easily done via the hotel guest's smartphone, which can connect to the sound system through a Bluetooth connection and a unique PIN code. To avoid inconvenience to other hotel guests, the maximum sound level of the sound system is determined in advance with the hotelier."

New to the Häfele Loox range is a wireless charger, which can be easily connected to a 12 V - Loox power supply and is suitable for wireless charging of all smartphones.

Multifunctional mirror
Soon the Inspirium will be further enriched by a multifunctional mirror from Häfele, which comes in three standard sizes. "Special features include the Bluetooth connection," says Van der Meer. "This allows hotel guests to easily play their own music via their smartphone on the integrated sound system in the mirror. A heatable surface in the mirror prevents fogging. The hotel guest therefore does not have to worry about condensation. The mirror also features frontlight (CRI 90) and backlight LED lighting, which can be easily switched from warm white to cold white. As a result, ambient light and functional light go perfectly hand-in-hand."
