Access control systems that provide access to a building or a department are now more the rule than the exception within utilities. There are situations where it is desirable to also include all interior doors in the access control system. WINKHAUS not only has very practical solutions for this, the products are also elegantly designed. The blueSmart electronic door fittings for internal doors (ETB-IM) are secure, pleasant to use and can be seen.
The blueSmart products can be used flexibly. Dennis Sevat of Winkhaus Netherlands is speaking: "In public buildings such as schools, hotels, office buildings, clinics and hospitals, we have to deal with a dynamically changing usage structure. With blueSmart technology from Winkhaus, access authorizations can be controlled centrally - and quickly. Our electronic locking systems are characterized by high quality and simple operation, they are practically infinitely scalable and enormously flexible."
"With our blueSmart technology and the corresponding door hardware, the existing locking system of an interior door can be extended quickly and easily with the new hardware. All common interior doors can be fitted with this technology," Sevat lists. "For special authorizations or emergency openings, the electronic door hardware can be combined with mechanical or electronic cylinders."
After removing the old door hardware, you can easily and stably screw on the electronic door hardware through the existing DIN holes in the door lock.
The electronic door hardware is cable-free and versatile. Whether for interior doors with a mortise lock, latch lock or a self-locking automatic lock; in all cases, blueSmart communication occurs quickly and contactlessly. Says Sevat, "This can be done via authorized blueSmart keys, key fob tags or ID cards. "
The door handle is single-side electronically controlled and offers flexible options for access control with a person-specific single and continuous release function (both manually and automatically adjustable). "Installation on the door is very easy, thanks to the pre-assembly done at the factory," Sevat outlines. "After removing the old door hardware, you can easily and stably screw on the electronic door hardware through the existing DIN openings in the door lock. This usually works without drilling, and no cable is involved. Things like adjusting the direction of rotation and replacing the batteries can be done easily with standard tools."
The blueSmart electronic door hardware for interior doors comes with a choice of five high-quality stainless steel designs. "Three of them are also approved for use in escape doors," says Sevat. "Much attention has been paid to the optics of the door hardware. The design is timeless and has a minimalist look. The digital lock plate can be supplied in white or black, finished with a UV-resistant plastic surface. Together with the five door handle designs in stainless steel, this creates a look that blends neutrally into any interior style."
