This allows checking in and out at any time, without the intervention of a receptionist.

Mifare (chip card reader system) is widely used in hospitality. The Dialock lock system can also be connected to this. However, because Häfele wants to strengthen the security of the Mifare system, the company has added a security feature to their tags that prevents Dialock door terminals from simply being opened with any Mifare card. Dialock is also applicable to systems with other transponder technology.
